This is the best Waffle House ever! especially at night with 3rd shift! Had a friend from Chicago come for a visit and he and I have been in here a few nights while he has been here. Jazman, Sarah, Samantha, Zack, Chris and Amy (the best chef ever) have been so nice and welcoming to us everytime we come in. Will DEFINITELY be back and look forward to my next visit with them. They have really made his trip memorable and thank you guys.

Came from Chicago to visit a friend and decided to eat at Waffle House. Best decision ever. The 3rd shift crew were very friendly and the food was amazing. The atmosphere is very homely and cozy. Jazman, Sarah, Zack, Samantha, Amy, and Chris really make it home. Will swing back to this Waffle House just for the atmosphere.

My daughter and I stopped at this Waffle House on our way back to Ardmore, AL. Initially, we were going to order and go but decided to stay. Our server, Sharon, was the most attentive, polite, and engaging of anyone at any of the Waffle Houses that we visited. If you get a chance to stop at this Waffle House off Fieldtown, stop and enjoy the most respectful crew you will ever meet. I RECOMMEND and will stop here again when traveling between Birmingham and Ardmore. Oh, the food was delicious and cooked to perfection and coffee HOT!

Waffle House is always a reliable go-to for a classic breakfast. I ordered the All-Star Special for online pickup, and everything was ready on time and still hot and fresh. The eggs were cooked just right, the hash browns had a nice crisp to them, and the waffle was fluffy and golden — exactly what you expect from Waffle House.
Pickup was smooth and easy, and the order was accurate. Even to-go, the quality and consistency were still there. Waffle House never lets you down.

They’re super rude to their delivery drivers, the people that bring them produce so they can continue to operate, without those guys, every restaurant would suffer, because they bring all the lettuce, the eggs, the milk, your coffee creamer. It’s not all of them, but most of the managers that work at this waffle house are rude, condescending, if I was that delivery driver I would’ve packed up the order and sent it back to the warehouse and have them go pick it up. I get the service industry is hard, but lady if your 80 years old with the biggest attitude or chip on your shoulder youve been living life wrong.

While walking in, my party was stopped and told by this location’s privately hired security that this facility was doing take-out orders only (while the entire bar chair section had patrons eating inside). We weren’t even permitted inside to place a to-go order, and this location’s phone number immediately wants patrons to order on an app. This incident is being forwarded to corporate.

All waffle houses need to have real butter. It has been confirmed by multitudes that margarine is toxic. Waffle House continues to ignore dangers for all. The food is mediocre at best. The menu definitely needs updating. It is a desperate last resort for sure. Noone can tell you if that last steak they added is eatable so you don’t order it.

This was absolutely disgusting, service when we were ordering the waiter acted like she did not want to be there. It is understandable that you are busy but that has nothing to do with the customer! When we sat down there was literal FECES on the ground. Nobody wants to see this while eating. The environment was toxic filled with racist looks towards people. I of all places thought Waffle House at Gardendale would be a better place, just turns out it is worst than Fultondale! Absolutely disgusting.
