As always, the best waffles in town, any town! The peanut butter morsel topping is fabulous on top with a dab of butter and a bit of syrup! Now that it’s cooled off outside it’s the perfect time for Berts chili! It always tastes great, especially with the grilled cheese. It’s easy to make this the perfect meal by cutting the waffle in half and saving it for later! The coffee is great, no cream or sugar needed, it has a smooth flavor and is served just right, a little warmer than warm but not scorching so you can drink it with your meal. The refills come as quickly as you need them to. Very attentive staff! Great experience overall. Great location, just off the parkway with adequate parking for a big truck hauling lumber. We were able to maneuver around the parking lot and get in and out easily. Wonderful. We are pleased and sure didn’t leave hungry or thirsty for the long drive home!

The food at Waffle House is always good! And the cook, I think his name was John, he was bustin’ it this time! The food was fantastic and not only was he cooking the food, but he appeared to be training a new employee, and it was only those two running the whole place! Meaning he was definitely over working himself! Kudos to John, that dude deserves a pay increase, he absolutely earns it!

This Waffle House is right off of I459 @ Morgan Rd exit. Our waitress was so sweet, she was respectful & provided service with a bunch of smiles. The music was festive and everyone seemed to enjoy the vibe that was going on. The food was tasty & delightful.

My daughter took me here for Mother’s Day breakfast. It was a perfect experience. We were seated, ordered, fed and full, only 45 minutes later. I had a great time because the service was excellent, the food was great and everything was clean and cooked perfectly to order! No photos other than my happy plate lol Thanks everyone.

I had such a lovely waitress, she was so sweet. Seemed to be her first couple days on the job, however she was always asking what me and my father needed and if my son could use anything he was eating McDonald’s he just doesn’t care for WaffleHouse himself. The cook however treated that woman AWFUL it was disgusting then I got us to honestly be a little petty and ask specifically HIM to give me the packet of mayo and instead it to be handed to be he tossed it acrossed the counter. I told him that’s not the way to treat a customer and the way he spoke and talked to a co worker ESPECIALLY a woman was UNACCEPTABLE ! And that man very loudly told me “WOMAN GO SIT DOWN AND EAT” I am near 30 yrs old and I refuse to be spoke to like that ! It’s clear the man has no respect for women ! I’m fairly sure I heard the man’s name was Josh..

On 10/22/2025 arrived at this Waffle House on Morgan road Bessemer Al. Ordered my food and proceeded to sit down at the counter. The cook had just came from outside sitting in his car came right in and didn’t wash his hands and told me I couldn’t sit at the high counter, I was ordering to go. I stated that I was waiting on my coffee. He was very rude and told the young lady at the register to give me my money back. There was only five of us and no one was in the restaurant but us will never go there again. I have never been treated like this no one should.I wish I could give no stars…….

My spouse and I stop by this restaurant on the morning of November 9 headed to Dothan to get breakfast while there was nobody in line waiting. They had one booth open, but it had food still sitting on the table that hadn’t been cleared off. There was two ladies at the bar That has their purses sitting on the seats beside them so nobody could sit up at the bar. I personally ask the manager if she could clean the table off so me and my spouse could sit at the booth. She informed me that they would clean the table off whenever they got ready. There was approximately 8 to 10 workers behind the counter just standing there doing nothing. I don’t find this acceptable I have tried to Reach out to corporate office no callback no email back so I would inform anybody in the Bessemer area or this coming to the Bessemer area DO NOT STOP AT THIS WAFFLE HOUSE!!!
