Generally, Waffle House is always a friendly spot to get consistently good breakfast. This location however still has good food, but the staff were not friendly at all. Usually someone greets each person that walks in. This wasn’t the case. I got a scowl, and after a bit, Lindsey approached with her order book in hand and just said, “go ahead,” in a tone that suggested I was a huge inconvenience to her. I later heard her mention to the cook to remind her to never do a double again. I get it, I worked 15 hours straight yesterday. It’s still not acceptable to be that rude. Seems like everyone here was demoralized. Another lady came to take my order since I still haven’t gotten my drink and said “it’s been a day”. At least the lady that rang me up was apologetic and appeared to be aware of her coworkers poor attitude.

We pulled up and realized for once it wasn’t as busy as usual,so we were grateful for that. Got there around 1:40 and waited patiently to be greeted. Another table of two walked in and got greeted and got their order took before us & around 1:55 we got up to get a menu and the guy said sorry he was gonna do that. Never greeted us told us they will be with us still. It’s 2:04 and no one had came up to us yet so we decided to go to a different location. Very unprofessional and inconvenient considering we have a birthday party to attend at 4 and they weren’t even busy . Disappointed to say the least.

Im calling the manager tomorrow. I love the Waffle House but this was a horrible experience at this location. The waitress was extremely rude. I told her my grits were watery lumpy and cold shrugged as if there isn’t anything that could be done. She was so rude I regret even leaving her a tip it’s just habit. Luckily the cook heard my complain and gave me some out of another batch they were hot but still watery. I eventually said I wanted my food to go. She did not give me any syrup for my waffle. This is the one closest to my house. I’ll never go again. When I first entered another customer was asking her for the address she pretended not to hear her. That customer was black like me i dont know if this was a racial problem or if she is universally nasty but she made the experience horrible. People save your money why pay to be treated like that.

We’ve been so impressed with all the Waffle House locations in the Brandon area. They’re always clean with great food and service. The staff always have such an upbeat vibe that really adds to the overall wonderful dining experience. I really like that you’re able to substitute the meat options for tomatoes too.

Place is a joke.. the cooks go out back to smoke in the middle of shift. Then they come back with an attitude with the servers when the entire restaurant came to a stand still…. I understand this is the waffle house, but management really needs to get that stuff under control .. It seriously got so bad that the servers started taking the waffles off the grill themselves. The bad thing was they did it without gloves… the positive thing was the bacon was cooked perfectly so I guess the breaks aren’t bad.

This Waffle House is excellent! I’ve been to many in several states. I just visited this one, and was impressed to make this review. Food was steaming & hot down to the last bite. Coffee was kept full. We were checked on regularly but not pestered. Waitress was friendly, along with all the other employees. Food came to the table quick.

I recently dined here and experienced a blend of positives and areas for improvement. Pros: The waffle was on point, perfectly cooked and delicious. The coffee was excellent, hitting the right spot, and the service was notably fast. Additionally, there’s ample parking right off the main strip, making it very convenient. The pricing is also unbeatable, which is a major plus.
Cons: The food quality was somewhat inconsistent, likely due to a new cook. The hash browns were a bit under-crispy, and unfortunately, the eggs were runny in an undesirable way.
Overall, while there were some issues with the food, the fast service, good coffee, ample parking, and great price make this place worth a visit.

Good Food Fast is their motto (wasn’t that Kenny Rodger’s Roasters motto?), and they deliver on that motto. Waffle house has their breakfast game down to a science. I got there at 7am and I was out the door, fully satisfied by 7:20 with a smile on my face. I think their chili on hashbrowns is criminally underrated. The staff here is friendly and attentive, I will definitely be back. Really clean store too!

The food is still good but be sure to look over your check before paying. The menu prices versus what they write are different.. They tried overcharging by $1.25 on a $7 bill, With lame excuses

It was Waffle House. The waffles were really good and my waitress was pleasant and quick. Took one star off because it was so cold. I was feeling it, but the poor waitress was freezing cold, I really felt bad for her. Eventually she disappeared in the back for a while and came out with a hoodie on. Waffle House, is it necessary to keep it so cold?
