This location should be closed. I walked in with my niece last month during the week after doctors appointment. A table was cleaned for us and the waitress never returned. After 35 minutes we left and visited an Applebee’s. There was a full house of Waffle House waitresses which seemed to spend all their time behind the counter talking about whatever and ignoring customers. Not sure if a Manager was on duty or not. I will never return.
I have been a loyal Waffle House customer for many years and it seems the last few years customer service has fallen off. It seems the wrong people are being hired. As a retired Marketing Dir for the largest computer Corp customer service is everything. People buy from people they like. Customers return when the waiter or waitress greeted with a smile and friendly tone.
An attentive person will win out every time.

Visited 1:43am Monday August 5 2024— waitress Miranda (see photo) was outside and followed me inside. Every inch of the restaurant was dirty. Cook was on his phone, using gloves hands, and cooking. Waitress was incapable of doing her job. Seemed like drugs were involved. She was rude. Didn’t listen to guests orders. “Whatdoyawant?” Was how she greeted me. She couldn’t get it together. Threw a fit over milk. Grow up.
Cook was upset with her. Heard some sort of grievance between them. Food was good but my goodness. Hope she enjoyed her tip. I only gave it because I was over her attitude and wanted to leave.

Horrible if your mangers don’t set the standard how can we expect those tht follow them to…apparently the 2 managers in the photos were the servers for the night….mmm but walking in the door we knew they were busy Sat 2am ish…. were going to have a wait time…walked in every seat at the counter was filled so we sat in the 3 open chairs in front of the register waiting for someone to clean those 4 empty tables….mmmm so as the manager was cashing the next table that was leaving out she looked at me and stated “it’s going to be a 40 minute wait b4 we can take your order so I said ok…15 minutes later after club crews come in the door she tell them 40 mins as well…mind you 5 empty tables 5/6 workers walking back and forth.. so a young gentleman that was sitting at the counter spoke up and said, “hold up we’ve been sitting here an hour and you told us the same thing and no one has taken our order yet….mmmmm.. its to much to finish writing but mangers, if you except tht job which there’s nothing wrong with it… you have to set the standard of professionalism look at you guys..a hot mess. My well done sausage biscuit had hashbrowns on it I could’ve scrapped them off myself so she gave it to the cook… she gave it back to me in less than 4 sec..mmmmm my friends we won’t talk abt they’re unseasonably steak cold coffee meals…oooo the cook was eating bacon in front of everyone but not cooking orders and who runs out of grits at 5am when Sun morning is grit Sunday… not just run out but no more in the store…mmmm store 1010 you need new managers immediately

The server was slow, distracted. My bf got food poisoning here, it started within 10 mins of him eating his food. Very unprofessional, very forgetful, service was trash and they are quite lucky that we decided to pay and not be that one horrible customer. Because I was about ready to jump out of my seat on all 3 of the employees that were working at the time. Sarah, her bf and a young black male as the cook.. DO NOT EAT HERE, WILL MAKE YOU SICK..

For me, a trip to Georgia is incomplete without visiting the Waffle House. Breakfast at this location proved to be the correct choice, our server was great and took care of us very well, the food was tasty, and they even have sugar free syrup for their namesake staple. The southern hibachi powerhouse still serves hash browns scattered, smothered and covered like we all enjoy! Will definitely return here next time I’m in Savannah!

This was my first experience with any of the iconic Waffle House restaurants. I am unsure if all are alike or if this is a one-off, but the location was quite dirty and I had second thoughts about the group request to order food here. I relented and ordered food and ate it. It was pretty good, the waffles were the best part. I don’t care for all of their cheese being American cheese so that’s a big minus for me. I wish I had a better experience and might try another location if presented the opportunity based solely upon others’ love for the chain.

I came into this location real early this morning in route to work. I only ordered a sandwich, & not to mention there were only 3 customers in the building, and 5 staff. Upon going to eat my sandwich the sausage is raw. I’m just confused why the rush, but no one was getting off. It’s 9:17 and the same staff are here. I ask for the manager, and they say she’s not in & don’t know when she’ll be back. Just sad, but all these unnecessary/ bogus fees are added to the to go order. No consideration for the inconvenience to me having to come back! Customer service skills suck. Only Cheryl tried to rationalize the situation.
