It was delicious as always. Great service and fresh food. This by far was the best decor I have seen in a Waffle House. It os truelly a Bulldog theme location. Parking is an issue since it is downtown but on non game day it should not be a huge issue.

Wow. Definitely hit this one on a perfect night. Super clean, amazing service and the food was god-tier. Whomever was cooking on this particular Tuesday night absolutely crushed it. Our little group of 3 ate every last bite and raved about the meal the entire time. Phenomenal – great job Athens WH!

Very very clean. Did not disappoint on entertainment. The cook got mad, threw his apron in the air, quit, stormed out. Waitress said he does it all the time and he’d be back. She ended up cooking us dinner. Not what I ordered but it was good non the less. Sure enough, dude buddy showed back up about an hour later and started cooking like nothing even happened. Bathrooms were incredibly clean.

Absolutely perfect dining experience. Jazz was a fabulous server who had our food out fast and right. She is very attentive and friendly. Wish this Waffle House were near my home- I’d be here all the time!

Came in at 5 in the morning with a craving—IYKYK.
Steven was really nice and took our order and prepared our food with precision. We appreciated his kindness, especially so early in the morning.

Wow. Been to a 100 waffle houses in 36 years and this might be the worst. Terrible staff, rude, non attentive and basically a hangout for friends not buying. Men’s toilet was backed up. Ordered a to go waffle for

Workers didn’t clean tables off after 10 min of people standing in line. As with every Waffle House, “seat yourself” was stated on the door. We sat down and didn’t get any service for even drinks after 25 min. Workers then yelled “you can’t sit at a dirty table” to the whole restaurant. And after halfway cleaning the table we were sitting at, workers proceeded to sit another group there. Bullshit on all sides and the most incompetent workers I’ve ever witnessed (even for Waffle House).

I hate I have to even write this review because I love WH, but this particular WH is trash. A group of us went for food one night and per usual with every Waffle House, “seat yourself” was stated on the door. So we sat down and were instantly yelled at by workers saying “you can’t sit at a dirty table”. She proceeds to grab “security” to make us go back and wait outside in the rain for her to halfway wipe the table with lukewarm water. And after halfway cleaning the table we were sitting at, they allowed us back inside. Then once I placed my order (which I order specifically/regularly at every waffle house) the lady has this confused look on her face as if I asked to borrow money. She proceeds to tell me that no they can’t make that, but I can order everything a la carte and build it myself. Which I would have had no problem doing, but her attitude was UGLY. So I to the bar to ask another waitress who followed the same incompetent look of confusion and then both waitress begin discussing it as if I asked for caviar or something. Well it turns out the cook on the line was just as bad, so I decided to sit there with my group and just drink black coffee, because at this point I was turned off by the entire establishment and their mediocre staff.

Kitchen was backed up, two people working the grill, three more sitting doing nothing at the back table. Doors were locked, no one could access a bathroom. It took 15 minutes for my order to be taken and another 30 for the food to come up. It was freezing outside and raining, and we couldn’t even be let inside to stay warm while they cooked the food

If you get mad at these great employees it’s just because they are overwhelmed in bar central on a Crazy Party night. I’ve been in here 3 times late at night. 2 times it was CRAZY and they were all working their butts off. Nice people from my experience. Tonight it’s slow and they are so kind and attentive. Food rating is good, just the same as all other Waffle Houses I’ve been to.
