I consider myself a Waffle House connoisseur and this is probably the best one I’ve ever been to. Amelia works quickly and efficiently while still giving you that unmatched southern hospitality that makes you feel special and seen. This isn’t something you can train in people, that’s personality and genuine kindness! The entire staff seems to like each other and you can see it in how they have an almost unspoken rhythm while getting orders out. What a lovely surprise on my road trip from GA to NC. I will definitely come back next time I’m on 85!

Waffle house is the best. Little known secret is if they have the ingredients, they will make you off menu items. Want an omelet? They got you. Everyone is nice, but don’t get disrespectful, most people in a Waffle House know how to throw hands, and they’re not super worried about losing their jobs. They are open 24 hours, so the timing of your visit may affect your visit greatly.

The cheese grits were delicious as well as the perfectly cooked hash brown with ham and cheese. The waffle was a bit undercooked and soggy. The location was dirty in general but looked like I came right after a rush. Every available chair and table had dishes or spills. It’s unlikely I would choose this location again. Plus I didn’t get my toast.

Had the sweetest experience here a few weeks ago and almost forgot to leave a review for it. It was late, we forgot to thaw meat to cook, was a long night! We came through and the staff was so helpful and on top of everything. The food was amazing. The waffles were THICK! My kids were extremely restless and they just smiled and kept on rolling. We dont usually eat out anymore so this was a treat also I cannot remember our waitresses name just that she said she drives all the way from Madison and if management is seeing this she is an ANGEL! Such an incredibly nice lady!

Food was amazing however, the table busser Jorja was not. Very rude lady, who did not allow my elderly family member to sit down, as she said we were not next to be seated. We were very kind to Jorja and explained nicely that we were next to be seated, as there were two families ahead of us who had just been seated. She must not have been paying attention (she was on her phone a good bit), because the family she allowed to sit had gotten there way after us. We politely waited our turn. I am disappointed in the way she argued with me because she was most definitely not correct. She was not allowed to do anything except for clean tables, so I guess this makes sense.

Even though there was a small wait, everyone worked super hard to keep things moving and I feel like any other place this small wait would have taken a lot longer. Breakfast was delicious, I had a bacon cheese and egg sandwich with a side of grits (normally comes with hashbrowns). I love going to Waffle House in general because they have what most places do not, real vanilla Coke. Love it! Staff was super friendly and managed to get our food out within 5 minutes of ordering even though every table was full.
