I took my daughter and 2 grandchildren for lunch. Our food order was taken but they forgot to take our drink order. Part of the food arrived but still didn’t have any silverware yet. Finally had to ask the next person we saw. They kept getting our order wrong, food was ice cold except for a couple of items. Even egg shell in my grandson’s eggs. My hashbrowns were delivered raw so I sent them back not thinking to grab the eggs for my granddaughter. Took the entire plate. Eventually they returned the same eggs and toast from original plate ice cold. Still didn’t have my waffle then it was brought ice cold with cold peanut butter chips. Asked if they could pop in micro and was told they don’t have one took plate and dumped food in trash and said they would bring me a fresh one. Eventually my hashbrowns returned over cooked. And then later my got waffle came. The food overall was the worst I’ve ever had at a waffle house. Service was worse than the food. When I paid for the meal I told the young man that rung me up to please let his manager know about the problems we had and that we love waffle house but would never return to this location. He just smirked and chuckled and says yeah sorry it’s the end of the shift and everyone is ready to go home. Yeah sorry waffle house this is totally unacceptable!!!!!!!

The server Chloe treated us terrible from the beginning, we had a group of 5 and were very respectful from since we sat down. Then, as we were leaving she flicked off our group after she had already given us as a table away to a different server. The food was good as always but we have never been treated with such disrespect at a Waffle House.

I had a very disappointing experience at this Waffle House. The shift lead stepped outside of the work area for a break, was seen biting his nails (left hand), and then returned to the kitchen without washing his hands before grabbing creamer and handling items in the small fridge.
One employee (name starting with “C”) was eating toast behind the counter and then put away cups, plates, and mugs without washing her hands.
On top of the hygiene concerns, our waitress had to be reminded of basic service like straws, coffee refills, and checking on the table. She also could be seen touching her hair amid handling plates.
A few staff showed good hygiene, but overall, the lack of sanitation and professionalism—especially from the shift lead—was very concerning. If he doesn’t lead effectively, so goes the team. This location needs much stronger guidance and training.

Food was obviously great, just like every WH. The employees here not so great,Lackadaisical, no motive, didn’t know what area they were working. There was 8 working and only 5 customers, still took 5 min to get my order taken from the lady sitting next to who was 1 of 6 that were just sitting. However they all were nice and very bright attitudes and my waitress bought me hash browns because she didn’t hear me say 2 orders……………. .. went back this morning and the service was completely opposite from last night.

Chloe took phenomenal care of us! She was such a delightful server. I love the good vibes this location has; everyone was super pleasant and chatting when we walked in for an early morning while in Statesboro from out of town.

If Undercover Boss was ever needed in Statesboro, Waffle House on the bypass needs it bad. Been here 45 mins and have one glass of soda no food, the waitress is new and has to pull out cheat sheet to get order right, oh by the way, my family only ones here. If Statesboro had other restaurants that were open at 9pm, we’d left.
Came last week and grill was broke, half restaurant always closed.
Just got food, cold waffles, bacon burnt do bad it crumbles when picking it up, patty melt been cooking so long like leather.
