Nicely toasted bun with my burger. Simply delicious. We walked out of two different restaurants before figuring out Waffle House is the best solution.
We first went to a burger joint that was takeout only and smelt really bad, like rotten meat, then a baked potato place that wanted $15 for a chili cheese baked potato, not including a drink.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would!! This place as a building is just like any other Waffle House..but man I went in there on Christmas Day when it was literally the only thing open they had this place running like a well oiled machine and it was PACKED!!! Customers dining in and take out and door dash all these orders were going out in a timely fashion you couldn’t ask for anything better if I could tip them $100 each I would have outstanding job ladies and gentleman!

MJ gave great customer service but that big sloppy looking guy cooking the food is rude… food was dry and not cooked properly and he forgot two items…and my sausages. The manager blamed MJ which I seen her tell him the complete order. Then he served cold scatter potatoes he was trying to be funny…

When I walked in the cook was at the register on look at her phone. Although my order was ready was there when I got there, it was just sitting in the counter by the register. As I was the leave the cook had her head down. I haven’t had Waffle House in a long time so I was exited to eat my patty melt. As you can see in the picture it wasn’t good at. The bread was soggy on one side and but tasted burnt on the other side.

Recently, I’ve noticed some restaurants engaging in practices where customers are overcharged or charged for items they didn’t order. I’m not sure if Waffle House is intentionally participating in this or if it’s a matter of insufficient employee training. However, I do find it concerning that Waffle House still relies on an outdated manual billing system instead of a modern POS device.
Looking at the attached image of their pricing notice, it clearly states that all prices include taxes and a to-go service fee. I ordered the cheesesteak melt plate, which is listed at $12.60, but the server told me my total was $15.00.
I just want to bring this to the attention of consumers—be cautious of potential overcharges and keep an eye out for servers who may make calculation errors.

Attitudes trash. Waffle hardly cooked. Eggs not even fully scrambled. Placed an online order PLUS I tipped. One little syrup for this waffle. Normally a lot better service. Some ppl should not be front line.
