Great waffles, lightning-fast service, but honestly… not enough fights. I came here expecting at least one chair to be thrown or a cook to challenge a customer to a duel over scrambled eggs. Instead, I got perfectly crispy bacon, golden waffles that tasted like a hug from grandma, and a server who smiled like she hadn’t seen chaos in years. Disappointed in the peace, but the food slapped. 4 out of 5 punches thrown. Would eat again, but next time I’m bringing my own drama.

My husband and I are regulars here, we ALWAYS see Angie and she is absolutely AMAZING! When we don’t have our kids with us she ask how our kids are doing and what things were doing on the weekends. Food is always delicious and cooked just right! The Halloween decorations are a 10/10 can’t wait to see it finished!

The staff is always very friendly, serves good hot food at a value. This location needs to put the heat on and turn off the air conditioning when it’s 40 degrees during the cold months. Dress warm if you want to dine here during the cold months.

I have never been treated so terribly by a server in my life. I brought my twin toddlers in for lunch with their grandparents. Kim was visibly flustered. I use to serve tables and understand it can get overwhelming. We were told we could sit at the low bar or a table that would be cleaned off shortly. My toddlers are too little for the low bar so we were waiting by the table. Kim says “ it will be a while… yeah it’s gonna be a while before I get to that” in a shockingly annoyed tone. We didn’t say a word as we didn’t mind waiting. My toddlers start running around the restaurant so I moved the dirty plates myself on top of another dirty plate that was already left on the bar top. I clean the table with a napkin so I can sit my toddlers down to wait. My FIL politely asks for a rag and says he has no problem cleaning the table off himself in efforts to help out. Kim loses it and goes off on us. She yells that we got another section dirty bc we couldn’t wait and continues to make a very inappropriate scene. She looks at me and yells “I told you to wait!” Which she did not she said it would be a while before she could get to cleaning the table . The tension and awkwardness was palpable to all the tables around us. I defend our perspective and let her know her attitude is absolutely unnecessary. She says she wont serve us as though we wanted her to and gets Angie. Angie asks me what happened and assured us we would still have a nice experience which we did. The food was delicious and Angie was lovely. Another server told us this is a frequent occurrence with Kim…. Like I said, I understand serving can be overwhelming but if you don’t posses the coping tools to do it don’t do it!!! I am not sure how her behavior is acceptable to continue working as a server…. I am hoping to get in contact with management.

Afternoon shift is flat out terrible. Both orders were wrong and took a long time. A little weird watching your guest eat and while your stomach is growling. We were regulars but after today… Well find another Waffle House to do business with.

I have no complaints about the food, cleanliness, or service overall except I noticed one particular server seems to go out of her way not to acknowledge or serve me and partner any time we come from the first time we started eating here. I usually don’t like to assume prejudice but it’s difficult to ignore when we’re the only guests of color and maybe that’s why. KIM, however, is AMAZING and deserves all of the recognition for her impeccable service! She’s always friendly, prompt, and goes the extra mile to make sure our experience is great despite whatever else may be going on here. It’s the little things for me and honestly? She’s the only reason I consider eating here. There’s another young lady who is great as well (I forgot her name my apologies). Other than that, I can tell the team works hard. Thanks for all you do!

Normally visit after church. I visit the Waffle House located at 1966 Eagle Drive frequently.The service has always been great. But upon the last 2 visits I experienced long wait times due to my order being lost or the server not putting the order in. The server Renee took my order on the last 2 visits. Upon today’s visit, Renee took my order and she did not immediately notify the cooks. I watched her for over 6 minutes walking around talking to guest and and neglecting my time. I approached Renee and asked if my order was put in because I had a bad experience last visit- ticket lost and she was the on who took my order. Then, server Angie walked up stating that they have a system of putting in orders! I sat there calmly watching other orders being called out before my order.
