Haven’t been to Waffle House in a while. Stopped after my doctors appt (& fasting). I understand it’s hard to find good help. Lord have mercy. This place hasn’t been cleaned in days. Of course I don’t expect a clean WF but this was absolutely disgusting. Workers were awful. One guy knew what he was doing. One stayed on his phone while coughing around the cooking area. No gloves no nothing and obviously sick. My waitress was awful. Had to ask her to pickup my order that was just sitting. New guy cooking was well clueless. Noticed prices have almost doubled and the quality has declined. Mind you this was a Monday at 11am. I can’t imagine this place during a busy period. One and done at this location.

We placed an order online, and it was promptly made and picked up in ten minutes. I was greeted when I walked in. We order the all-star meal with a chocolate chip waffle, eggs scrambled with cheese, bacon, and hashbrowns with cheese, onions, and jalapeños. Super tasty and cooked perfect! Also pictured is a Texas cheesesteak with grilled onions and melted cheese on toasted white bread. Hashbrowns had grilled onions and grilled tomatoes. Absolute perfection. This location was clean and would highly recommend it. We will be back!

Not sure what has changed, but today was a disappointing day at Waffle House Hickory Flat. I think the jr. Staff may have been on duty today. The restaurant was FILTHY. Dirty floors and several vacant booths, all dirty! My order was incomplete and the wait staff seemed like their job was a chore. 🙁

Young staff was more concerned wirh flirting with each other than helping customers. Many empty and dirty booths. Once we got our food, we needed drink refills, but again, they were too busy flirting and joking around. My fiancés food was old and dry. We both ended up sharing mine. When we were ready for the check only then were more drinks offered as to go’s….

The atmosphere was trash. Most of the workers were horrible. Except Bella, the guy with the accent , the guy checking the to go orders was awesome. I ordered a chicken sandwich plate hashbrowns scattered, covered and chunked. No cheese on sandwich. My hash browns were scattered, covered, chunked and smothered. My sandwich wasn’t suppose to have cheese or onions on it and they were. I will NOT order there again.

Food was good but on the other hand our server keke was the worst of the worst! I’ve worked in the service industry and if I could give a rating below than 1 star trust me I would. We’ve had her a couple times and the experience has been re-occurrent. As usual she would give us the silent treatment as I saw she does with others but I also overheard her cuss me and my friend out. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND .
