Honestly, it was such a pleasure to visit this Waffle House at 1:00 a.m. in the morning. Just one of a few Waffle Houses they still allowed dining, the food was spectacular I even switched it up and got some hash browns instead of my usual grit bowl lol. They will kind of busy but I didn’t mind to wait, the service was overall very good no complaints whatsoever, well I will say this there was a drunk guy that just kept going on and on talking derogative but that still didn’t take away from me ordering my food and eating there I will still go there on my lunch break and eat.

Go there every other morning at 6am and order same thing from this location and never had a single issue but today their customer service at the worst because of one lady who refused and kept arguing me on the price. I been eating same thing for months from diff waffle houses but have never charged so high priced. When i corrected the lady she got upset and worked up on me. Slowest Waffle house I’ve ever experienced. Food took over 30 minutes. Waffle was thin and a little “crispier” than I would like. Server was friendly, kitchen was backed up because it was Sunday.

It was ok but my eggs were overcooked. It doesn’t mix well whmith the hashbrowns when the egg is too done. The waitress was really nice and calling the order in was simple, so other than the overcooked eggs, I had no complaints.

Half the stire seating was closed. Which is understandable they only had one server but communication is key instead of letting someone stand by the doorway for minutes on end. A simple how are you will get to you momentarily is fine but they don’t care I guess because the customers are predominantly Mexican but the staff is predominantly American maybe it’s just me.,..

Walked in at 12:30am, there was a sign on the door stating “TO GO ONLY”. There were about 5 customers inside, no one had drinks. Everyone was apparently waiting on “TO GO ORDERS”. After entering, instead of being greeted with a “Hello, welcome in” or “Hi, have a seat anywhere and we’ll be right with you”, we were greeted with “TO GO ONLY” in unison by 3 people. After we were reminded our food had to be take out, we then were told by PAULA it would be “a minute before she could get to our food”. “A minute” meaning “at least 20 minutes” after asking what “a minute” meant… so we drove on down to Indian Trail and 29 where we were warmly greeted and taken care of immediately. At least put a smile on your face and have decent customer service to people walking in your restaurant. Good help is hard to find!
