Very disappointing late-night experience (12/21/25)
We visited this Waffle House around 11 PM on 12/21/25 with our two children (ages 2 and 10). We arrived first and waited patiently to be acknowledged.
While we were waiting, two separate groups of teenagers arrived after us and were served and engaged with immediately, while we were completely ignored. The server did not acknowledge us at all—not even to say there would be a wait.
After waiting for several minutes without any response, we had no choice but to leave without eating. This was very disappointing, especially with kids late at night.
We understand late-night staffing can be challenging, but being ignored while others who arrived later are served is unacceptable. We hope management looks into this.

This waffle house is the worst in the area we stayed for 25 min and there were 5 Workers NOT ONE of them bother to come and clean tables. We were ignored and there were tables that needed to be cleaned and none bother to do so. Not only that other customers came in and they also were ignored.

Never really had a problem here but one time… But this time it was upsetting. My son was hungry so we came in to dine in. Ordered an All Star, side of grits, side of pickles and 2 sodas. Mind you it wasn’t busy by the time we placed our order. Everyone was gone! They said there was a lot of to go orders that had to be brought out.Okay… We were there for at least over an hour. As we were still eating I went ahead and placed an order to-go for my mother. I noticed that the waitress made two separate checks… When I asked for the check to pay I noticed on one check a two charge of $1.18 each on my to-go. I understand that they have a new policy for to-go orders is 20%. What I don’t understand is that if we sat for dine in first, then why should we be charged for “that “to-go” charge”? I have been working in restaurants since I was 13 and I am a manager. I also eat out a lot with my family never seen this on going scheme being allowed. I think that is absurd that you get charged for a to-go order even if you sat in! I would understand if we just walked in and ordered a to-go but no! As bad as it sounds, I did not leave her more then a $3 tip. I was going to tip more!!! But she can keep that 20%. Our server was a young heavy Caucasian girl around 20sh-30 years old. Also, side note… My son ended up throwing up the food!!! So much for waiting and it wasn’t even cooked properly!!! And I will be posting pictures of the checks and my son’s throw up!

Starving on the way from work stopped there at 9pm. All of 5-6 young waiters present are loudly chatting with another half a dozen teen visitors sitting at the counter while I’m sitting for 10 minutes starving waiting for someone to take my order or at least ask what will I drink. Second time I asked if someone will take my order I was told they are busy with food orders in the queue and I have to be patient and will have to wait. Yeah. With two tables busy other than me and the phone order customer sitting and waiting because his order was still not ready when he arrived.
Drove one exit down to another WH and was greeted in a minute, my order taken and food served promptly.
