Unfriendly service. Nasty, unseasoned,soggy trash. Cook acted like he didn’t know what he was doing.Today is October 23rd and he was on shift around 5:30 p.m. I would not eat there again. I sent my husband for food before he got home from work and they gave him poor service and even more poor food and they didn’t even give us all our food because one plate was missing!! We ordered four plates only three were given. He made the food and then went to hand to my husband instead of putting it in a bag who does that? I told my husband that he should check our order before he left left lesson learned. Total waste of my husband’s hard-earned money.

On Thursday morning, 11/6/25 around 1:00 AM, me and a couple workmates came in to eat. There was a young girl, Hayley, taking orders and another young girl without a name tag cooking. The young girl cooking was one of three working, the other two being Hayley and Amanda. The actual cook, Amanda, was apparently taking a break. The young girl without a name tag was running the grill poorly and ended up burning our hashbrowns and scraping half my meat in the trash because she put it on toast when it was supposed to be a cheesesteak plate.
During this time, a group of 4 young maybe high-school age classmates of the young inexperienced cook came in and placed orders. Amanda, the experienced cook came in and started pulling their order. Once the order was ready, apparently all of the orders were wrong, so they asked Amanda to remake them while the no nametag classmate of theirs pulled to go plates for them to box up their wrong orders in. The second round of orders was apparently not right either or at least, there were issues with it which escalated the situation quickly. Two of the 4 young customers began going back and forth with the cook, Amanda, cussing at her and calling out insults. The young no name tag female employee tried to de-escalate the situation by trying to ring them out so they could leave, albeit with free to-go orders because they were “wrong”.
The cops were called and the unruly customers were escorted out. With their free food.
Amanda had asked them to leave before the cop got there but the young no name tag girl persisted on ringing them out so they could take their meals, instead of just letting them go.
Very poorly executed scenario egged on by the young no nametag employee who also screwed up our food.
Will not be back for night shift. Was very sorry for Hayley and Amanda for having to deal with that unnecessary chaos just for some free food.
UPDATE** – Jeremy and Pat made up for the one-off bad experience by allowing me to come back for a new meal. The food was great and Miss Pat was truly a pleasure to deal with.

We went in and they were doing training. The cook waited on us. He was very attentive. We are up from Florida and originally not going to stop for fear it would be a long weight. It was quick and the food was fabulous.

We specifically headed to Waffle House #4 – Georgia Avenue, North Augusta, SC for breakfast! Today, September 5th, marks their 70th Anniversary! They are the oldest operating Waffle House, #1 is in a museum and #2 and #3 have been torn down. Great service! The food? Delicious, hearty, and always a great value.

When we walked the waitress acted like she didn’t wanna take our order and told the other guy I’ll cook and you take there order. But then the other waitress came in from his smoke break and took our order. The first guy ended up cooking. The lady sat on her phone all night. We told them we was ordering for here and ready brought some of our food on here plates and put the rest in a todo container. He was just in a rush so he could sit on his phone the rest of the time we was there till we was about to leave then he decided to clean. We never got asked for a refill.
Then while me and my friend was sitting there eating and roach got on my arm and I had to throw it flick it across the table to which we decided to just take our food to leave because that is nasty. Will never be going back to this one
