Very dirty . the meat was full of grease will not come back aiken has the most disgusting waffle houses .

1st shift today (7/23/25) @ 2 pm was very slow but the food & service was rushed!!! Amber was on her cell phone while the order was being called out for her to cook….The cook & server was rushing so they could leave, leaving the next server to bring the cold unpleasant food!!! The ticket wasn’t calculated correctly…I only recommend eating there when Denise and her crew is working!!!!!!!

We went there this morning for breakfast after grocery shopping. I had two orders of the senior’s Grilled Cheese and Hashbrowns at only $6 each. I’ve had it before and knew the sandwiches were kinda small with not a lot of cheese, however, that’s what I had a taste for and the Hashbrowns were very good. It hit the spot for me.
My lovely wife had the Texas Bacon Patty Melt with Hashbrowns and enjoyed it. Her sandwich looked pretty good, so next visit I’m going to try the Texas Bacon Cheesesteak Melt.

Had breakfast right at shift change and got great service from the staff. Food was served quickly. Clean store. Definitely a good place to enjoy breakfast.

Before I say anything else, I wanna say that I LOVE Waffle House. So it pains me to say that this is one of the worst ones. Unfortunately it’s also the closest one to my house, so I’m stuck going here for now.
They are chronically understaffed with servers who have the worst attitude and work ethic I’ve seen in a Waffle House.
I regularly wait 15-20 minutes just to get a glass of water.
The food comes out burnt or undercooked regularly. I’m talking black bacon and soggy waffles.
It’s been going downhill my last 3 visits, and it’s only gotten worse. Just a disappointing experience every time.

BEST WAFFLE HOUSE OUT THERE!! Denise is amazing and was the kindest server and the best entertainer. I got a birthday waffle, laughs, birthday song, and an all around fabulous atmosphere. The cook and other server were also so friendly and accommodating.
