I’ve been a Waffle House fan for years—the hash browns are always spot-on, and the coffee hits the spot on a late-night craving. Service is usually quick and friendly too, but my last visit fell short in a couple areas.
First off, the cleanliness was a letdown. The table we sat at had sticky residue that no amount of wiping could fully remove, and the floors looked like they hadn’t been mopped in a while. It’s a busy spot, I get that, but it made the whole vibe feel off.
On top of that, the speed of service was painfully slow. We waited over 20 minutes for our order despite it not being peak hours, and the kitchen seemed backed up with a decent sized crew too. By the time the food arrived, we were hangry and ready to bounce.
Overall, it’s still a solid go-to for classic diner grub, but they need to step up on upkeep and staffing to earn those extra stars next time. Worth a try if you’re nearby, just temper expectations.

Went at 5:30 am and greeted by Dennis, Brittany and Becky Meal was AMAZING And had to get a to go box cuz it was too much (even for me lol). Everything was spotless even the bathroom – had to wash the syrup offa my hands My only (slight) urk was the coffee was kinda cold but they brewed a new pot. In fairness, there was no one in there at 5:30 but the employees See yummy pics for further mouth watering

I absolutely loved this waffle House. I come from Florida and waffle House is a staple so I’m quite skeptical of Carolina Waffle House’s, but when I tell you this was the best waffle House I’ve been too up here. The staff were attentive and didn’t have that fake retail/fast food Smile. We all know that smile but they seemed so down to earth, yes it was hectic but they didn’t skip a beat on greeting me and my husband. And let me tell you THE FOOD OMG IT WAS AMAZING. This is the first waffle House ever and I mean EVER that has made grits that were good. I didn’t have to put salt pepper or sometimes if I know I’m going to a waffle House I bring a baggy of seasonings. But this waffle House has won my heart over just because of the grits. I never give a 5/5 but this waffle House has done better then a lot of fancy restaurants!!!! I will go again<3
