It’s Waffle House so you go with a certain expectation – and its consistent! Service is great, friendly servers, kitchen staff busting their tails. Our grandson loves Waffle House, his favorite breakfast place, and he always gets two orders of bacon with his chocolate chip waffles!

My husband & I eat at Waffle House a once or twice a month over the past 20+ yrs.
I will say it is rare that we have ‘Exceptionally’ good service AND a good meal. Recently we ate at the one in Lake Wylie after taking my husband to one of his Dr appts. And we over heard the Cook (TJ) speaking to his wait staff. I could not believe my ears. He was being so respectful, appreciative, praiseful & positive. I told my husband that all cooks need to speak that way to their waiters and waitresses. Then later he came by the table to see how we liked our meal. We let him know that everything tasted great and thanked him. Hope they are able to keep him!! TJ is good for Waffle House business.

The cook tonight was very rude and condescending. He’s extremely sarcastic and Prepares the food as he pleases, As if waffle House doesn’t have standard procedures. I’ve had multiple negative experiences with him & will be back in the morning to hopefully talk to a manager. We love Waffle House and don’t mind at all driving an extra 5 minutes to a better Service and experience from here on out!!!

If the red haired short girl is working I recommend going elsewhere, she is rude and horrible at her job, forgets what you order and you have to ask multiple times to get what you asked for. She works night shift, go elsewhere.

server stood behind the counter and didn’t deliver food when done it sat on the counter as the cook tried to tell her to get her food and when it got sent back the cook looked at her like “I knew it”, one of my party didn’t get half the meal and one had messed up order. EVERYTHING was cold. By the time we got our drinks, it was watered down it waited so long.
Gave 2 stars because when the food that was remade and given immediately it was hot and good.

Food was incinerated and inedible. We ordered to go and got it home. Hashbrowns that were supposed to have cheese (that we paid for) didn’t, but they were burnt to a crisp and as hard as a hockey puck. It was too far to drive back. We tried to call but they don’t take phone calls now.

Sausages were raw, waffles had uncooked waffle batter, had butter in toast when asked for no butter, scrambled eggs were very runny, utensils were brought AFTER we received the food. The “District manager” didn’t seem to care at all. We are regular customers and this had to be the WORST experience ever at this location!!!
