I’m pregnant, and my husband brought me food from Waffle House. Thankfully, he asked to take a bite of my waffle first — and ended up biting into a metal screw. A SCREW. I can’t imagine what could’ve happened if I had eaten it myself. This is unacceptable and incredibly dangerous. We’re beyond disappointed and shaken. Do better.

I’d like to give a shout-out to the legendary crew at the Simpsonville Waffle House — a place where the coffee is strong, the vibes are chaotic in the best way, and the staff could honestly star in their own sitcom.
First off, the servers: Mackenzie, Jonathan, Lisa, Ashley, and Zaria. If hospitality had a Mount Rushmore, these four would be carved on it… probably holding waffles. They somehow manage to keep the orders straight, keep the jokes rolling, and keep the energy high, all while surviving the glorious breakfast hurricane that is Waffle House. They don’t just serve food — they serve entertainment. You walk in for hash browns and leave feeling like you just hung out with the funniest people in town.
And then there’s Lewis on the grill — the true hero of this story. Watching him cook is like watching a waffle-slinging ninja. He’s flipping, scrambling, smothering, and covering like he’s conducting a breakfast orchestra. If there were Olympic medals for multitasking, Lewis would already have a gold around his neck… and probably still be cooking while wearing it.

Food was fantastic, and one of the better portions. It’s waffle house, could be a little cleaner but it’s was nice and quick. Service is kinda where this location falls apart, been a few visits and they never bring refills. They take care of you good out the gate but when food hits the table your often forgot. Will update as experience changes.

Spent Christmas morning with my family at waffle house and I couldn’t have asked for a greater memory. This place was packed, people lined up out the door and the staff were running around like chickens with their heads cut off, but even though these people were working in Christmas day, they all had a smile on their face.
Everyone played thier part and food came out perfect. As someone who grew up going to waffle house, Im thankful that I can share new memories with my children in a place I loved so much as a child.

Third is worst waffle house food I’ve ever had, I understand how it taste old and cold and I assume this is the food they cooked in front of me. The manager burns the bacon they barely put meat in the hash brown bowl you’re better off buying the sandwich meal and deconstructing it because if you get a bowl their will be one tablespoon of meat on it, kind you I ADDED bacon and their still wasn’t enough to have a piece of meat in every bite, asked the manager why their was so little meat compared to other places I’m paying $12 for a bowl of hash browns and he said “there’s meat in it, isn’t there.” and disregarded my dissatisfaction, this is a newer Waffle House but the service and quality are very low on the totem compared to other establishments I’ll go to Fairview rd or ft in. From now on
