Normally, I don’t leave negative reviews unless I’ve had a very horrible experience. We visited this waffle House on Christmas night as we do each year. Most staff were friendly, however, our waitress, R Kelly, seemed like she didn’t wanna be there. She got irritated at us a few times bc we couldn’t hear her, but it was noisy in there. When it came time to pay, and we left our tip, apparently, it wasn’t enough for her. We heard bits and pieces of a conversation she and a customer was having. They were both degrading us, and talking about how we should’ve left a better tip. I understand ppl have hard days, but that’s no reason to act unprofessional. If they can’t be professional, stay home. It makes the person and the business look bad. Also, my son had ordered 3 eggs with his meal, it was obviously just 1,bc I also had 1, and we had an equal portion. He brought this to the waitress attention and she claimed there were 3. He asked for 2 more and said waitress charged full price for 2 extra eggs instead of giving the amount to equal what he actually ordered. Then, if that wasn’t bad enough, we were sitting at the counter and could see what was happening. A guy was bringing a chocolate chip waffle to someone but first, used his fingers and looking like he’s spreading something over the waffle. This would be considered a big no no with DHEC. We will never eat at this waffle House again, sadly the conduct and customer service of some of the employees has made y’all lose customers.

I ordered a waffle online in hopes it would be ready and I could pick it up and leave because I was in a hurry. I show up, it’s not busy so I thought it would be ready…they haven’t even started it. Then there was no urgency to get it going. Not the usual experience and waffle house.

I walked in and was greeted with smiles and an upbeat attitude from ALL staff… Shunshine was my server and the relief Manager and she is a JOY… They are the opposite of the Waffle House stereotype. I LOVED being in this atmosphere. And their comradery was amazing. I enjoyed seeing their respectful and delightful connection with every customer. Very attentive. Very clean. And the leadership provided correction and direction with respect.
