Stopped in at Waffle House today, and once again it reminded me why this place holds such a special spot in my heart. The staff was outstanding—so warm, friendly, and genuinely awesome to talk with. They made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in, which is everything I’ve come to love about this restaurant over the years.
What made this trip even more special was that it was my son’s very first time at a Waffle House. Being able to pass down the “wisdom” of this place—the great food, the laid-back atmosphere, and the people who make it feel like family—was something I’ll never forget. The meal was spot-on, cooked just right, and served with a smile.
Thank you to the incredible team here for making his first Waffle House experience such a memorable one. We’ll definitely be back!

Messy,unclean,not friendly, just plain rude this is on sat 7n2026 @ 7 pm.
Walked in no one in the whole place did not say hello. Just your order is to go correct. No it was not to go. Then what can i get you. I stated a menu. Ordered a big slam i think. Did not ask how i wanted my eggs. Did not as if i wanted anything but bacon. Then i asked if they had coke zero. They do not but said they did. Got food waffles was almost burnt. Then i wanted jam and a refill for my drink. Got an eye roll and told she was busy with other tables 3 other tables at this point. Please go elsewhere not worth the hassle or eyenrolls

We stopped here this morning while passing through after doing an estimate on a house. My husband owns and operates a licensed construction and remodeling business. The inside did not appear overly busy, and only a small number of people were waiting on their to-go orders. Two tables in addition to the counter seating were visibly waiting to be cleaned, so we stood nearby expecting one to be cleared.
Staff acknowledged our presence but continued their conversation and made no effort to clean a table, the counter, or communicate with us. After standing there for 15+ minutes without any update or interaction, we decided to leave.
We understand that restaurants can be busy or short-staffed, but basic communication and attention to waiting customers would have made a difference. Unfortunately, that did not happen.

A lot. And off duty worker loudly talking to someone on speakerphone. She was talking loudly to herself and the workers as she was counting her tips. Her uniform shirt was too small and revealed a lot of skin (stomach sides and back). Our server was holding a conversation with her as she was serving our order. She dropped our plates and walked away. I had to get up and ask for the rest of my order because she didn’t bring it all initially. She never cameback to fill the coffee or ask if we needed anything else. The floor was really dirty. I looked around and could see looks of surprise in other Sunday customer’s faces. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Waffle House. No one should have to endure this type of behavior when coming to an establishment .

Can’t dine in after dark. Which is crazy. I’m from South Georgia. Never heard of such. They said it’s for their safety. If you’re that scared you should probably find at job that requires you to stay home with your doors locked after dark. Can’t be scared or soft all your life.

If you are out if state,away from home ,don’t spect to much from this restaurant, Wafles are basically a pancake with waffle strip line looking, Biscuits and gravy are okay, there biscuits are thin mini pancake size waitress was not Attentiveto us,Had to be asking for drink refills.

Come here to the location on two notch almost everynight after work and it’s by far my favorite place to eat after work! The workers are so nice and kind the food is cook hot and fresh and never once got my order messed up! As a manager in fast food myself I definitely can say this third shift crew is on fire !

Reginold (probably spelled that wrong) was awesome. A very kind and caring soul. I came in a few minutes early and he opened up just for me. I was AMAZED! Now look! I work, you understand me? And this man made sure I was able to get out there and get my money on a full stomach. He didn’t have to do any of that but he went out of his way just for me. That’s it, JUST me. There was no one in sight for miles and it was the crack of dawn too. Stand up guy and I want Wafflehouse to give him a gift card or a raise.
