Exactly what you expect and desire from a Waffle House: greasy food, served quickly, by a friendly waitress. The coffee was hot and the restaurant was above average clean by Waffle House standards. Overall good experience and yummy breakfast.

Food Was good they had really no help because they said people called out but they never missed a beat. As I was leaving I noticed a dog coming. NOTE: ( I like dogs nothing against them) I just dont think they belong in a restaurant shaking & jumping with food around everybody are not animals lovers because the two ladies they were by looked very uncomfortable & they had been there & were eating their food. So that was the only thing about that.

We really needed this pick me up this morning. This crew was amazing and they make you feel like family. Our pup passed away and we came to the beach to get away from our Mccormick home. Our waitress Selina was the best we have ever had at a waffle house and we tipped her accordingly. In a time when good help is hard to find this team knocked it out of the park. All my reviews are honest. The only flaw was the mens bathroom needed some cleaning but to their defense we came in a busy time of day.

I usually have pretty good service so im not going to give terrible rating but today the cook grabbed my eggs out of my to go container (that I had already taken outside and opened the container while in car) with his gloved hand (like bawled my eggs from both plates up into his fist) and threw them back in the pan out of frustration to add cheese to them. Very unsanitary moment. I wouldn’t be able to eat from his cooking again. I told the waitress and she didn’t say a word to him. Just allowed it.

The restaurant was dirty and smelled bad, my food wasn’t done for 30 mins past pick up time, the workers were unsanitary cleaning dirty napkins off other people’s plates then making my food. The food wasn’t even okay. Wouldn’t come back here ever

It was very crowded when we visited and I felt the staff couldn’t handle it well. They were allowing people who were large in number and asked them to dine instead first come first. The place wasn’t that clean. They took almost 15 minutes to take the order. The coffee wasn’t hot at all and even the waffles weren’t that great. Cheese omelet was good though.

Tried this Waffle House location on Market St. for the 1st time this morning & it was pretty good. I ordered the Sausage, Egg & Cheese Texas Melt w/ side of hashbrowns “country” & “smothered” to curb my stomach growls. It was good, flavorful, not greasy & hit the spot. Nice preparation & it tasted wonderful. The Texas Toast seemed to be a bit “softer” than I anticipated (probably from it being buttered) but it was still toasted very well.
Opportunities for improvement:
– The hashbrowns were also flavorful, but came w/ about 30% less gravy (country-style) than 2 other local Waffle House locations I have dined at before.
– The counter I sat at, had not been fully wiped down & disinfected yet at a time where there weren’t that many dining patrons inside & no one else was seated at the front counter. Wasn’t bad, but wasn’t a good cleanup job, neither.
My server, Teresa, was very friendly, prompt & possessed a positive attitude w/ a smile. Great service & it was contagious. Well done.
OVERALL SCORE: 3.9 STARS!

Open 24 hours? Went there at 5am after dropping my wife off at the airport and you have to order outside through a walk up window, take it to go or eat in your car. Thats not why people go to waffle house. I left and won’t go back.
