My boyfriend and I went here for dinner around 7pm. We were the only customers in the restaurant and the staff immediately looked annoyed when we walked in. Our server was named Christian or something with “Chris” in the beginning. He wasn’t quite rude, but he definitely had sass/attitude any time we asked for anything. For example, I asked for sugar free syrup instead after he set down the normal syrup. He sighed loudly, took the regular syrup, and then kind of slammed the sugar free syrup onto our table. Then we got our food and everything was “overly cooked/burnt” to my standards. I am attaching pictures. The bacon was so burnt to the point I sent it back. When we asked our server if it was possible to remake it, he looked dumbfounded that we would ask such a question. He looked confused and asked, “so how do you want it cooked then??” I told him, “just not as crispy please.” He took it to the cook, he remade it, and it still came back burnt. Me and my partner refused to eat the bacon after I tried taking a bite and couldn’t chew it. The second plate of bacon is pictured, I did not take a picture of the first plate. I know the food pictured looks perfect for some people, but it was just too cooked for me.
On a side note, I am 95% sure that a drug deal happened in the parking lot. A Jeep pulled up next to our car, in the shaded/dark area of the building. They never came into the building, just sat in their car. A red car pulled up next to them a few minutes later. Same thing – they did not come in the building and just stayed in their car. One car left, then the other one followed quickly. I could be wrong about it being a drug deal, but everything felt sketchy.
I do not trust or recommend this Waffle House on Raeford Rd. Especially if you get Christian/Chris (whatever his name was) as your server! My boyfriend and I both got sick that night after eating at this Waffle House. I believe we both had food poisoning.

Great breakfast! I had the cheese steak hash brown bowl with onions and chocolate waffle everything was delicious only thing is there was too much chocolate chips on my waffle Ill know next time for a plain one or light chocolate chips. Server was very helpful and nice. All in all 5 star

We probably should have walked out, but we were hungry so we stayed. Server tried to bring me the wrong drink, when I brought it to her attention she didn’t know they carried the drink I ordered. My wife didn’t get all of her food, we had re order it and get it to go. Our server never checked on us, a different server(she was good) checked on us when she was near by. The line cook was telling customers how to properly order their food so he didn’t mess it up next time. On top of all that the restaurant was dirty, silverware was dirty and there was no sanitation rating posted anywhere. Worst Waffle House in the area.

I’m from the UK but whenever I’m over in the States to visit family, there’s one non-negotiable stop: Waffle House. Every single trip, without fail. My go-to order? The Texas bacon patty melt with a waffle on the side. It hits every single time.
And honestly, the staff deserve a raise. From the second you walk through the door, you’re greeted like extended family — that warm, genuine welcome you just don’t forget. Because the food hits. Most of the time it’s busy, but if you can overlook that, definitely give it a try if you haven’t. It’s more affordable and tastier than IHOP for sure.

Food was not cooked how I asked. Bacon was undercooked and chewy. Had music playing very loudly. Staff seemed nice and attentive. But food wasn’t worth the price.

Well, well. I can say I been to the Waffle House from Oklahoma to Louisiana and I must say Fayetteville, North Carolina needs to understand what clean as you go means because this was the dirtiest Waffle House ever. The two stars only because they came quick with the food but we still waited 30 minutes to be seated because nobody would bus tables.
