Im a Florida girl that visits Waffle House all over Florida.. and many other places as well… but this place is by far the best Waffle House i have ever encountered… I forgot the cooks name, but he made my scrambled egg & cheese and it was the best I have ever had in my entire life!!! The waitress was amazing and the food was cooked to perfection! I come to NC twice a month and i am definitely going to be going to this specific Waffle House…

If you are patient, here is your place. The food was very good (I got waffles) and the side dishes were too. The atmosphere around the place is pretty standard but one of the main problems here is that the food takes a little while. On a busy day, it took us 30 minutes and our order was not even up so we left. Go here when it’s not busy and you will be rewarded with quicker timing for the food to be prepared.

Went to get breakfast because our power was out. It was a weekday so normally a very slow day for this area. When we entered the Waffle house we notice only 3 staff on and a full house! The 3 workers on duty were great! They all worked together and got the job done and clear the house fast with happy full belly customers. It is difficult to work short and I would like to thank the 2 cooks and 1 waitress, I appreciate all they did this morning 6/21/23 around 730/8am 🙂

First time at a Waffle House and we will not be back, there isn’t a separation between the dining room and kitchen so it was very noisy. Our waitress was good, you could definitely tell she was stressed out and seemed a little overwhelmed with how busy it was. Hash browns were ok, nothing special about them, bacon was good, waffle wasn’t very good, seemed on the soggy side, biscuits and gravy were decent, sirloin was very small and overcooked.

This was our first time to North Carolina and we really wanted to try Waffle House (as seen on TV, On Patrol Live, lol) It was amazing! Hot, fresh and better than homemade! The waitress was very attentive and kind. I personally thanked the cook and waitress! Our bill was only $13 for the big breakfast and Waffles so I handed her a $20 and told her to keep the change. Now I wish I gave her even more of a tip and one to the cook. We flew back home the next day…I really need that place here in NorCal!

The waitress was awesome, and it was a nice atmosphere. I ordered t-bone steak and eggs. Usually, the t-bone is very tender, which is why I get it. This time, it was pretty tough, but I ate anyway. We were pressed for time, and I was hungry.

We eat here at least 2 times per month on Sundays. The new crew today was no good. When we sat down, the restaurant was almost empty (6 other patrons). We were given our drinks and told we would be waiting on a server. We sat for 5-10 minutes while 5 people stood behind the counter talking to one customer, and 4 more groups entered the restaurant and sat. The new patrons were greeted by a server and began placing their orders, so with no one is sight to take our order we left. Not sure we’ll be back.

The waitress was more interested in talking with other staff. However she was the cook too. My fried egg was too done. My husband’s grits were leftovers. My waffle was good. My husband’s eggs and bacon were good. We will give it another try and hope it has improved.

Ginger was a great server. The cookline staff were on point. Busy concert / graduation night and they were rolling people in and out in record time. Waitstaff were supporting each other and the food was good. We entered at end of one wave and were part of th next. I saw 12 plates at once all get prepared, followed by additional sets. 4 staff serving full restaurant !! Great job !
