I was a little hesitant to come to this place because of the social media incidence that occurs in this franchise. I decided to check it out personally. The location was clean. The staff was quick and attentive. You can see you food being cooked right in from of you. The quality of the food was good and the prize was the price. I will definitely return.
Update: I returned with my family in which, they too were hesitant because of social media coverage of Waffle house. To their surprised, they were absolutely pleased.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Waffle House 1020 with my family on multiple occasions, and I must say that our experiences were consistently exceptional, thanks to the outstanding service provided by April and Quila. These two servers went above and beyond to ensure that our meals were delicious and our visits were enjoyable.

From the moment we walked in, April and Quila greeted us with warm smiles and attentive service. They took the time to answer our questions, make recommendations, and check in on us throughout our meals. Their kindness, patience, and dedication to their craft were evident in every aspect of our dining experience.

What truly impressed me was their ability to provide personalized service, remembering our preferences and making us feel like regulars. Whether it was our server remembering my dad’s usual order or April surprising us with a complimentary dessert, they consistently showed that they care about their customers and value their business.

The food, of course, was delicious, but it was the exceptional service from April and Quila that truly made our visits to Waffle House 1020 stand out. They are a credit to the Waffle House brand and an asset to the community. We will definitely be back, and we’ll be requesting them by name!

Clean. Waiter was friendly and attentive.
I forgot how spongy and yummy their waffles are. Definitely would go back to satisfy my waffle cravings. The smothered hashbrowns were okay.

The food is always good. I haven’t sat down in a waffle house to eat in years but the wife and I wanted some good breakfast and this didn’t disappoint. The all star is my go to dish. Get it for dine in or get it to go, just get it!

It’s a Waffle House. Eating there is what you’d expect it to be, but I strongly suggest not to make any online orders.

I’ve made a few online orders here, but I probably won’t anymore.

The wait times are really inaccurate, which is inconvenient as my food is pretty cold once I get there.

There’s also been a lot of times where things are missing from my order, which I don’t realize until I get home. On this order in particular I was missing all of the meat from every all star special.

And for some reason they don’t have a working phone anymore?? I tried to call about my order but all I got was a message directing me to their website. Pretty frustrating as they had no way to state that part of your order is missing. I had to drive all the way back to the restaurant.

I’ve had things like this happen in the past multiple times, but this was definitely the worst experience yet. So yeah, online orders are a no go.

Eating there is definitely the better option. Food is solid, staff are friendly most of the time, and I’ve made a lot of good memories there. But again, it’s a Waffle House so don’t have your expectations TOO high.

Also quick tip: DO NOT GET MUSHROOMS ON ANYTHING. I made the mistake and it tasted like acetone.

I’ve lived in the south for my whole life and I never get tired of a Waffle House. The staff are welcoming and friendly, I ordered my food and didn’t have to wait very long, and the food itself, while a little greasy, hits exactly how you want it to. Perfect for the early morning or the late nights.

Food was perfectly prepared, although I would ask for crispy bacon, ends were not quite cooked. If only Waffel House would step it up and serve larger sausage portions instead of sausage “medallions”, it would be much appreciated! All in all, this cook had it down, very good job!! Service was good. One star missing because of the sausage;)!! Great waffels!

My waitress Lolia and the staff was completely amazing!! The food was awesome, and even had the cook ask how it was, which is amazing and shows they care. That’s a big deal!! If I could give 10 stars I would.
