Came here for waffles today. It was very busy but steady. The staff were also so nice and accommodating. My daughter made mention that one staff was overall the nicest. His name was Elijah the food was hot when it came out and tasted great. The portions were a good size. Of course the pricing is always great. The restaurant was clean. The bathroom was clean and well stocked. I like how there was lots of holiday decorations. I will be coming back.

I really want to say Good things about my experience here, the people are Pretty nice for the part. But all the years I’ve worked in the Restaurant industry but we know that Appearance and cleanliness is a big part of the customer attraction. I have literally watched every workers walk and step on same food/ toast on the floor for 20 min and nobody swept it up. If your going to have people able to see your cooking line, at least have someone take a second to sweep the trash on the floor…

12/07/2024 was my first time stopping into this Waffle House for Breakfast . This Waffles House by far was the cleanest I’ve ever been to from the stove’s down to the Floor. I’ve visited many Waffle Houses from Virginia down to Florida and nothing beats this one. My favorite was the welcoming atmosphere from Customers to employees . Definitely will return to this Waffle House when passing through Petersburg, VA

The staff was very friendly and courteous. Meal was prepared and delivered fast.
The restaurant was clean….there was a staff member outside sweeping the parking lot immediately Infront of the store.
FOOD: Don’t expect gormet; This is a waffle house.
STAFF: The waitress helping me was very attentive, ensured I had what I needed and I was satisfied with my meal and service.
THE NEGATIVE:
The sugar, syrup, and ketchup containers were not the cleanest. They are “community” served vs individual packets.
OVERALL:
Good experience. I would go back.

I’ve been to many waffle houses, WA, NC, SC, GA, FL, TX, NY, and out of all of those places. Definitely would put this waffle house in the Top 5. Great service, clean tables and bathroom. Very friendly server. Will definitely be back here while I’m staying at Fort Lee.

I find Waffle House to be a consistently dependable option for a meal. This particular location maintains the standard of prompt service and yummy food I’ve come to expect. The only difference is that dine-in service is unavailable on Friday and Saturday after 10 or 11 pm, likely due to past incidents involving intoxicated patrons. Waffle House is a reliable choice when I require a quick and budget-friendly breakfast.

The worst place to eat at. The service is horrendous and the food not the best. We were a party of 8 no one got what they ordered. The grits were so over cooked, cold, lumpy and serve without the cheese and just thrown in the bowl. I asked the server for what I ordered and got upset and confrontational. Any resent multiple stars are probably from friends and family because the place needs a good cleaning as well.

This is a standard Waffle House, but it is next to several hotels, which is convenient. I never get to eat grits, and they are great here. Servers are fast with getting orders ready, and Mike, in paticular provided outstanding customer service for the handful of visits I made to this location while I was in Virginia. I will go again.

It was awful. The restaurant was very busy and chaotic when we arrived. One of our family members went in to get a table. Another family walked in after him, and we were right behind them. One of the tables was being cleared for us. The server put our menus on the table and we had a high chair for the toddler situated and were just sitting down when another server came over and told us that the booth was for the other family. The 2 servers discussed who arrived first, which was our family, but the other family had already been called over and were standing next to us. It was very awkward, uncomfortable, and unprofessional. The other family was looking at us with annoyance making the situation even more weird. We decided to leave and let them have the table. I was appalled at the horrible handling of the situation. Whatever the case may be, once a guest is seated, they should never be told to get up and give the seat to someone else.
