It’s a waffle house. The food is mids on the best day. The staff is cool, funny, chill, friendly, polite, and well manored but that ain’t apart of the job. Your drink gonna be empty, your food gonna be cooked almost right, and your drink gonna be empty. But they ain’t kicking you out for smelling like weed tho

Terrible service today on 11/11. I’m a us navy veteran and had to deal with attitude because we told waitress the food was made wrong. She first started off when we sat down asking to start with drinks we knew what we wanted to eat but before we can say it she walked away to another table and took their whole order. I can say more but I’m just very disappointed and it wasn’t even busy. I always come here but never had a bad experience until now. I’m sitting here and she haven’t came back yet the cook had to serve the corrected plate and asked if we needed anything else.

Came into waffle House, airline Boulevard Portsmouth the place was not clean. There was bacon on the floor where they cook all the stainless steel where they cook was nasty all they do in there is joke and and play the health department needs to be called in the floors were nasty. The tables were not wiped down good and where they cook there was food everywhere, wet and the next day and it never got cleaned up all over the place and up where they cook the eggs all up underneath they had food everywhere like they didn’t do it in days, if you come out and Portsmouth, please do not eat there. Came here at like 11 pm, with no one else in the dining area. First, they got my mom’s hashbrowns wrong, and then we waited 30 minutes on my uncles waffle and coffee. They charged us for the waffle we did not get, and we never received the coffee. They served our food in togo boxes and cups? Like what??? Also, grits had a weird texture. Servers spent more time socializing than actually serving. I could continue, but overall, awful service. Dakota seemed pretty nice, though. Kudos to Dakota.

As I walk in I see the staff eating, and when I say eating I mean grabbing bacon off a plate, fingers and all shoving food in their mouths. Then without washing or even attempting to put gloves on. She places napkins in front of me with her spit still all over her hands. Not a great look for a food establishment. Building looks nice though.

Surprisingly this place was empty. I thought they were closed. I mean I guess breakfast in a nice Sunday afternoon isn’t anyone’s go to but man that was wild. They took my order, made my food, and I was out. Good stuff. Waffle was perfect even though I wasn’t a big fan of the strawberries.
