Being born and raised in Bensonhurst Brooklyn we ave been deprived when it comes to the waffle house franchise. This is one of those places that the phrase ( southern hospitality ) was referring to when it was invented. We were treated with a friendly good morning as soon as we walked through the door. Alonzo went above and beyond making sure that everyone at the table was content and completely satisfied with their meal. The bacon tasted like bacon the waffle tasted like waffles, and the eggs tasted like eggs, overall a good breakfast. But Mr. Alonzo helped to make it an experience that we won’t soon forget.

Usually always come here but this morning made it to were we will never come back to this waffle house. Come in should of known no welcome to waffle house like normal. It’s 4am, walk in no one says nothing table still dirty. Black cook is just continuing to talk to these 3 biker type guys. Not addressing us in anyway. We already knew what we wanted so we were ready to order. Nothing. So we get up cook still continuing to talk to the men. We walk out and went down the road to iHop, which is open 24 hours now. Great service. Food is excellent. Especially compared to so many other places of this franchise. Calm atmosphere. Even other customers are about enjoying their meals and polite conversation. I go here all the time and im never disappointed. Plus it’s an all night place. No matter the time the service is friendly and the food is edible.

We love Waffle House! Have only been to one (seriously) bad one, it was in Greenville SC. This one was clean and the service at the table was great…but it took forever to get my over medium eggs. We were told “he’s having a problem making the over medium eggs”. They finally arrived… at which time my long ago served sausage was cold… and the eggs where closer to over easy. Also- pet peeve to the restaurants… the toast really should have better coverage of the butter. And warm enough so that the butter melts! Waffle was great as were the hash browns. (And as a note: they were not busy at the time)

Food was great , the service was great! but I believe that manager has anger issues. No one should be throwing grits across the kitchen, break dishes on the stove and then yelling at their employees telling them to clean up HIS MESS ! from where i was watching, the cooks and waitresses were doing what they were clocked in to do ! the manager came in and messed up everything they had going. which is why my food was late being done. I will be returning because it’s the only waffle house near my job but i’m hoping the manager isn’t there when I do because that was just really disrespectful to the employees and the customers that were there trying to enjoy their food. i feel bad for the employees there and I hope no one got grits splashed on them.

Cook was fantastic, only reason for the 5 stars for food. i tipped him. Server, terrible. Not sure if it was a he/she. But literally the worse service ever and im in the same profession. I was done once the roach ran across the table. Should have just ate at Caddy’s down the road. Won’t return here anytime soon, if ever!!
