One of the better Waffle Houses I’ve been to. Friendly staff, great and efficient cook (sometimes it is actually your waitress). This location doesn’t pick up the phone for to-go orders, so it is best to come in person and order for pickup. It is worth the wait.

It’s a Waffle House. Nothing special, but the service there is off the chain. They are so kind and make the menu with love. The menu is simple and pretty basic, but if you need a good breakfast at a crazy time of day, they got you. The atmosphere is like any other Waffle House. Talk about a well oiled machine! It took our waitress, Quail, less than a minute to see us once we sat down. She was extremely friendly and effecient. Well what can I say, it’s a Waffle House. Have I ever had bad food at Waffle House? NEVER. Once again it’s a pleasure to dine at this little place. It’s fresh, it’s clean and everything was cooked exactly how I asked. Seems that Charlottesville Va has one of the top Waffle Houses I have been too. I have visited the ATL and even those were not better then this one. ATL is home of Waffle House in case you did not know.

Went there at 11:00pm as I was traveling through and had not eaten. When I walked in on a one-person there and she said I’m only fixing take out. My response was that’s okay I’ll put an order in to go. 20 minutes later she had not said another word to me or taking my. She fix to go platters One customer. I’ve been to many Waffle Houses through the years. First, let me say, the food is good. It’s pretty consistent with the Waffle House brand. BUT! FAR from the cleanest one I’ve ever been in. I don’t think the floor underneath the line had been cleaned in DAYS. The plate I was served had been placed in a debris field of food on the cook line and the eggs, etc. were stuck to bottom. The staff was friendly and on top of things efficiently, but they were NOT very conscious of touching their faces in between handling their customer’s plates. Then, there was a small grease fire on the line as I was paying my check. Although not alarming as it was NOT going anywhere nor totally uncommon, it did make me wonder if the appliances were in need of cleaning as desperately as the floor below. I would stop here again as it’s on my way to my sister’s house because they could have just been having an “off” weekend. Nobody is perfect 100% of the time but if the conditions are the same, I will opt to go somewhere else the next time I stop in.
