Absolutely phenomenal experience at the Waffle House on Premier Circle in Charlottesville, VA!
We came in right after a nearby festival ended, so the restaurant was packed — but the team handled the rush like total professionals. Despite the high volume, our food came out shockingly fast, hot, and cooked perfectly. The kitchen staff and line cooks worked like a well-oiled machine, staying calm under pressure and making sure every plate looked great and tasted even better.
What truly made this visit exceptional was the amazing customer service. Every staff member went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. Special shoutouts to:
Mariah – Incredibly personable and fun, kept the mood upbeat and friendly no matter how busy it got.
Jessica – Her attention to detail was outstanding — from perfectly timed coffee refills to checking on every little thing we might need.
Diane – No-nonsense, fast, and kind — a true pro who stayed completely on top of everything during the rush.
Kristen – Quick-witted, always smiling, and gave us fantastic customer service. She even took the time to help us find something specific when we asked.
The entire team deserves major recognition for their professionalism, teamwork, and kindness under pressure. This was easily one of the best Waffle House experiences we’ve ever had.
Huge thanks to Mariah, Jessica, Diane, Khirsten, and the line cooks for being absolute rockstars. Management should be proud — this crew represents Waffle House at its very best! We’ll absolutely be back the next time we’re in Charlottesville. And give all of them raises for the amazing work!

Many folks give this place a bad rap. However, you can’t come to this restaurant expecting the Ritz Carlton. They always get the orders correct and deliver to your table efficiently. This place is still super awesome. Value for the money is top notch!

This has to be THE best Waffle House I’ve been to. The staff was so nice which really made the experience in my opinion. The bathroom was neat and clean. The food…well, it’s Waffle House, what can I say. It’s not fine dining but it was warm, tasty and served with a smile; definitely worth the $14 I spent.

Ive been to many waffle houses. The food is the same as always. Its a good solid choice for a meal. But this waffle house is special for one reason. Shelly. Ive had thousands of servers in my life. But none have had me consistently unable to stop smiling. Even as I leave the building. I cannot overstate how happy we get when we see her there. If you are having a bad day ask for shelly.
