Awesome local restaurant! The food is always excellent no matter what my husband and I order. We love the breakfast, but there are also plenty of options for lunch as well. The service is top notch just as the food and atmosphere! We tell all our family, friends to share in the great quality of food and service. If we get any visitors we plan to bring them there too. All appetites welcome, take leftovers if you can’t finish it all and you won’t be disappointed. Visit this place and you will be happy you did! An unassuming, bustling breakfast joint right off the main drag. Small dining room that was so full of customers there was standing room only to wait in line, and YES, it was worth the wait. (We didn’t have to wait very long to be seated.) Quick service. Good food. We had the chicken and waffles and a nicely loaded omelet. Waffles weren’t as crunchy as he would have liked, but they tasted good. We will definitely be back.

Looking for somewhere to grab breakfast food while we were in Mt. Vernon and Waffle Company came up. Fantastic menu options. I had never eaten Chicken and Waffles before, from the reviews, I decided it was time. Delicious combination of flavors and their waffles were perfect.
The establishment was very clean, the service was great. Very friendly ♡ Definitely will be going back.

This restaurant came highly recommended by the hotel I’m staying at while traveling for work — and now I see why! I always try to support local “mom & pop” places, and The Waffle Company absolutely did not disappoint.
My omelette was fantastic — fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. But what really stood out was the hospitality. I was shocked (in the best way!) to learn at the end that the sweet, attentive waitress who took care of me all morning was actually the owner.
You can truly feel the pride and heart in this place.
If you’re looking for great food, warm service, and that genuine hometown feel — look no further. Highly recommend!

Horrible service. i have ate and ordered from this restaurant many times and the service just never does it for me. i believe it’s the owner, so incredibly rude and arrogant. today i placed an order for pickup and ordered over the phone a s’mores waffle. should’ve checked before i left but i got home with a regular VERY soggy waffle. i called back with no type of aggression or attitude saying they got my order incorrect. she proceeded to say, “i took that order and thought you said a large waffle.” obviously with me calling saying that i did infact not order a regular waffle. therefore it is not my fault. she had an insane amount of attitude with me and i asked if i could have my order corrected and i am having to pay when she is the one who misheard. ridiculous. should never have to pay because YOU AN EMPLOYEE CANNOT HEAR.

Just had breakfast here 4-1-25. Great food and very hot(heat wise). We both had the spicy chicken and waffles. Fast service and great food, very nice waitress. Will definitely come back if we’re in the area.

First time here & I don’t know why. I regret not going sooner. We went on a Saturday afternoon. The food was delicious, great prices, good variety (breakfast foods, burgers, chicken, salads, & appetizers served all day). We were greeted as soon as we walked in; service was timely, respectful, patient and waitresses were very helpful with ordering.
