It wasn’t busy—just a couple of tables and no line—so service was fast. The waffles were good. The chicken was juicy, and the sweet-and-salty combo worked really well. Another waffle sandwich with eggs and bacon had solid flavor, and the syrup tied everything together.
Where it falls short is value. For the price, the waffle sandwiches weren’t very filling, and we left still wanting more. If you want to feel satisfied, expect to spend closer to $25 per person for lunch or breakfast. Worth it? That’s debatable.
One of the highlights of our visit was the presentation; our waffles arrived elegantly on a silver tray, adding a touch of class to our meal. While things may get a bit messy (but isn’t that part of the fun?), rest assured that every bite is worth it.
We indulged in a variety of dishes, including the standout Waffle Sandwiches. I opted for the Chicken and Waffles, which paired perfectly with a drizzle of hot honey—truly an incredible combination that balances savory and sweet beautifully. My wife tried the Migas Waffle Sandwich, and she couldn’t stop raving about it! She was able to get it with the gluten free waffle.
To complement our meal, we also ordered Waffle Fries, which turned out to be an excellent bang for our buck! They were crispy and flavorful, ranking among the best waffle fries we’ve had.
While the parking situation can be a bit tricky, especially with the limited spaces and nearby apartment restrictions, it’s a small inconvenience compared to the delightful experience that awaits inside.
Overall, I highly recommend Waffle Champions. Whether you’re a fan of savory dishes, seeking gluten-free options, or simply looking for a fun dining experience, this spot should definitely be on your list. We can’t wait to go back and try more delicious bites!
Our meals were visually pleasing and the levels of flavor were out of this world. 🙂 We are looking forward to returning to try more menu items. We want to try the craft soda flavors too.
I will definitely be recommending Waffle Champion to friends and family.
