First time we have had breakfast here at Wadsworth Inn and it was phenomenal. The food was perfectly seasoned and prepared and the serving temperature was perfect. Didn’t need to add anything. No salt, no pepper, no hot sauce. Everything was perfect as is. They also make a mean Virgin Mary. Even more exciting, they sell some of the products there. Like the sourdough bread -which is the best I’ve ever had- the eggs and the jam are also for sale. It is definitely a must go to.

JD was an excellent server and she knew a great deal of product knowledge which is extremely important to have.. Very excellent customer service skills as well.. I had the beef wellington, which had a wonderfully reduced demi served with it.. it was very comparable to Ramsays Kitchen in Naperville.. As a side I had the Mushroom Risotto and it was superb and better structured and tastier than Ramsays Kitchen.. The soups are completely delectable.. French Onion and Lobster Bisque..
My wife had the prime sandwich.. It was completely full of meat and she said its taste was delicious and she didnt have 1 negative thing to say about her sandwich, her side of Creamed Spinach, and her Bisque.. It was a superb night and for all that we were out the door in under the $100 mark..

Ok…my husband and I went today for opening of the new breakfast. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Everything was so fresh and tasty. We got to try the delicious fruit yogurt and the fresh sourdough bread with an amazing jam. I haven’t had a breakfast this delicious in a very long time. We plan to come back and try EVERYTHING on the menu. Thank you Dimitri and staff. You guys are GREAT!!!

Very crowded on a Friday evening but got seated immediately with reservations for 4. Service was awesome, our server Debbie was very attentive. Our group had pork, chicken, steak and crab, only point I would make were the crab legs were very small-would not recommend. Go try this old fashioned restaurant for a nice dinner

We had breakfast there this morning. Wow incredible from the coffee yogurt parfait and I had the pork belly egg sandwich. My wife had the breakfast wrap. I also had the bourbon cream coffee it was excellent so many choices will have to go back. Great job to all at the Wadsworth Inn this morning

First the No 14 manhattan was perfect. Our server greeted us immediately and brought us the rustic bread and herb butter, very good and then we requested another round of bread. My husband also ordered the baked french onion cup of soup. He thought the cheese was different (not his favorite) and loved the soup base. It wasn’t salty like some other places.
My husband had the country pork chops. It is served in a cast iron skillet, with a country/sausage gravy and mashed potatoes. I actually got a little sample. I ordered the lobster roll with a smoked baked potato. It was perfect. We ordered a salted caramel chocolate cake to go. We were stuffed and satisfied.

We came from WI to see a show at the Genesse in Waukegan. We searched google for area restaurants and Wadsworth Inn looked appealing. We selected to sit outside on the balcony since it was a beautiful evening. Our server was Tricia and she was incredible. She gave us time to order, made excellent recommendations, and friendly and professional.
Everything we ordered was beautifully presented and equally delicious. My husband raved about the salmon and risotto being perfection, and the red snapper tacos were so flavorful! Thank you for a great date night dining experience!

The food may seem pricey at first. But the ingredients are obviously fresh and high-quality. And they use enough. For example, the crabcakes are stuffed with crab and very little stuffing. I ordered delivery, so unable to rate service or atmosphere. We had the crabcakes, the country fried pork chops, the veal piccata, the brisket quesadilla. We were absolutely blown away. The food is amazing and I highly recommend Wadsworth Inn

First time visiting this little gem! I loved it. Sean Slavin the singer and guitarist filling in in the trio playing is why I came. While I didn’t order dinner, I spoke to others who raved about the food. Our server, JD was very attentive. I love the cozy northwoods feel, the Christmas decor rivaled that of Currier & Ives. Ed and Tom in the trio were so friendly and together with Sean made quite the entertaining evening. I will definitely be returning.

This is definitely a hidden gem. We came in an hour before closing, and did not feel rushed. So we really appreciated that. We ordered the beef wellington and pot roast in a cast iron – both were delicious. We also tried the lobster bisque. Can’t wait to return!
