We’re new to the area and joined a Monroeville/Murrysville Facebook group. Someone asked where was the best place for pancakes and omelettes. At least 90% of the people said Wade’s! They were right! My husband got the Al’s big breakfast which was an enormous amount of food. The pancake was as a big as a pizza and he said it was delicious. He also got the homemade donuts…blueberry, strawberry, and cheesecake. Incredible! My egg white veggie omelette with chicken sausage and home fries hit the spot. Everything is homemade…even their soups. Such a quaint place with all the feels of a hometown diner. We will be back!

Located on the outskirts of Pittsburgh, this is a great place for breakfast and brunch if you’re in the area. Menu offerings covers most of the classic breakfasts. But the real treat here is their home made donuts! It is simply fabulous! If you don’t have room for it, get it to go, it is that good.

Dining area size is limited. So during peak hours, you may experience waiting time. However, staff is very helpful and attentive. Portion size is very generous, with pricing being very fair, even for the area.

Wade’s is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! The is an off the beaten path location. The atmosphere has a down-home feel. The customer service was phenomenal with a southern charm even though we’re in the north. The food was exceptional. The donuts are a must add to the order. The omelets and home fries were ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. The sunrise skillet was top-notch, and the eggsport meal is a classic. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

My husband and I come here almost every Saturday morning. Every time we come here, the staff is friendly, efficient and knowledagble! You’re treated like family when you’re here.

The food is fantastic (I recently tried their new open faced steak sandwhich and it was phenominal!) but you can’t go wrong with any of their menu items. I have food allergies (mainly nuts) and there are still MANY options for me to eat.

I would rate beyond 5 stars if I could. Everything is priced reasonably, too! Worth a visit!

Great place. They have seating inside and outside. In a super quiet little cute area. Super reasonable prices for the amount of food you get. Staff was incredible. The place just felt homey and inviting. Cute and quaint. The food was spectacular. Loved the the breakfast sausage links. The scrambled eggs were amazing. I ate them before I could snap a picture. Pancakes the size of a small child. They make these yummy fried fresh and filled donuts. Strawberry, blueberry, and cream cheese.. they offer a seasonable flavor as well. It was red raspberry when we were there! Highly highly recommend checking them out. You will not regret it.

I ordered country fried steak. It was the best I have ever had. It was fresh, and able to cut with my fork. The sausage gravy was excellent. It was a huge steak, so I ate half and asked for more gravy to go. Plus it came with two eggs, potatoes and toast. I ate the rest for my lunch!!! I would go again as I saw delicious looking lunches start coming out. Next trip!!!

Breakfast was okay, but the bacon was kind of rubbery and potatoes were extremely brown looking? The butter was not spread all over the toast only in certain sections for some reason and the eggs were okay but kind of small? All in all, okay, but not the greatest breakfast. Not sure what competition is in the area but I won’t be back here. The inside is very small as well.

Great hidden gem! Good portions and prices are affordable. $9-11-ish for many breakfast options. At the end of the Westmoreland Heritage Trail so made for a wonderful brunch stop after a long ride. Classic hole in the wall dinner without the standard grime that comes with most greasy spoon diners. The pancakes are notorious for this size and were a family hit!
Please stop and relax as if it’s still the 90s!
