Food and service was amazing. The atmosphere is always great as-well. I’d say the only downside is that there may be up charges on the wrap, when requesting cheese, or bacon. Unfortunately it has became a bit more costly due to that.

This is a five star review because the Service deserves more stars than I can give. My server Christine was exceptional tonight. She was very personable, gave great food and beverage recommendations, and came back regularly to check in as promised. Thank you, Christine, for an excellent dining experience!

Was in SSM to visit a relative in hospital, and stopped by the GNR Wacky Wings on the evening of Wednesday, October 15, 2025 for what turned out to be an excellent visit.
Easy parking in the lot, entered the facility, and was impressed by the brightness, decor, cleanliness & ambience. Took a seat at the wood in front of the 3 TV screens and noted that the Raptors & Blue Jays games were on & ChiveTV was showing outdoor sports adventure highlights. Great views and a Jays playoff game as a bonus. Am a huge sports fan so this was going to be good!
Jackie came by with a smile and a menu and left me to peruse the selections. Was impressed by the scope & scale of the menu, more than wings available, with a plethora of wing options & flavours.
Christine came by inquiring about ordering … went with pineapple juice (a much-appreciated rarity not available in every bar), a cheeseburger with salad & 6 boneless wings with creamy dill sauce. Admired the bar inlaid with fossils and old Canadian currency. The bar decor was impressive, lots of care & attention had gone into the various items around the restaurant, many with an outdoor Canadian theme
The drink & wings arrived fast and it was games on! The Raptors were keeping it even, ChiveTV featured some white-water adventures, and the Jays were hitting balls all over and out of the park on an offensive rampage. Nearby tables loaded with fans provided expert commentary and enthusiasm. Great place to watch sports.
The staff were locals and chatted freely with the regulars. The burger & salad arrived and were enjoyed immensely. Christine showed me the desert menu & Jackie offered advice. Went with the sundae cups to top off the meal. Other desert selections looked great … worth a separate date-night visit to sample.
Cashed out feeling full and fulfilled. Good value for the culinary dollar in a nice facility with a friendly staff. Commend, recommend, and hope to repeat.

We went in for all you can eat wings. Felt like the waitress at the end had was trying to get us out the door as fast as she could because she wanted to go home. Wings were not bad but very disappointed with the service at this location.

Great food, service and ambience. Poutine was really good and we tried different flavors of wings on it. Kids loved it. Our server Karen was really friedly, helpful. Service was very quick. The first thing my daughter noticed was how clean the whole place was, specially the patio. Bathrooms were also very well maintained.

Ordered the pulled pork waffles fries nachos..was really good. I thought it needed more cheese but my friend thinks it was good enough. So just a matter of taste.
Then we got the 2-4 platter, wanted half of the wings vegan and half chicken but they could not accommodate so. ‘Inventory troubles as they say. I find it a bit too rigid. But my friend didn’t mind having vegan wings. But then the vegan wings came unimpressive.. I think it was fried long ago and kept warm…I know the taste of . Didn’t enjoy the platter…tried the antosjitos for the first time but am not a fave of it. All in all, the platter is not worth it, should have included some fries and salad for a platter I feel.

From Thunder Bay we like going to Wackys and enjoy the food so coming to the Sault to the original we expected better but the quality of the food did not compare to Thunder Bay. I ordered the same as I’ve ordered many times back home but if it was like this I would never order again. Hopefully was just an off night with a new cook or something but good luck. Oh and when someone points to a basket of fries and chicken fingers and orders it with a side of gravy for the fries that means they want fries?? Don’t come back and argue with the customer about what you thought and just bring them their fries!! It’s bad enough you brought the wrong salad with the meal as well

Every exprience I’ve had with a certain waitress leaves me not happy. Tonight we walk in, a table of 5, she walks up and is like “its gonna be at least 30 min wait” id understand if it was packed but it wasn’t. She has slow service every single time we have had her for a waitress.
