Dined at Wacky Wahoos last night, and.was super impressed. Have reservations Thursday night for both Azar & Papiamento. Toss me some thoughts.

Extraordinary.

Food: authentic, served hot, very generous portions and fresh seafood. From the plantain to the Wahoo fish, everything was prepared so well together. The fish soup was excellent too. Definitely go for catch of the day. All desserts were A+
Service: waiter was attentive, welcoming, and on the ball.
Atmosphere: vibrant and busy. No wait at 8:30, but can certainly fill up fast if you go prime time.
Would come back anytime for authentic Aruban dishes and quality fresh seafood.

Hands down best seafood of the trip. Large portions, fair prices. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. It was a bit annoying that some guests chose to stand in the bar area/ lobby waiting for a table instead of outside as they were practically leaning on our table. Hopefully the staff can continue to encourage people waiting for a table to wait outside. But I highly recommend the restaurant to anyone. You will not go wrong with any of the food or drinks you enjoy.

Overall, the restaurant was good. The only downside was that the seafood dishes had a bit too much sauce for my taste.

This is one of the best gems in Aruba near Palm Beach. Our family has been coming here for years. They don’t take reservations and the doors open at 5:30. I suggest you get here between quarter of and 5pm as it’s first come, first serve and you can wait on the outside deck and order a drink.
The food is absolutely amazing with many fresh catch of the day options available. I’ve had the yellow fin Tuna and barracuda with their fresh vegetables and rice which are melt in your mouth delicious. The service is great as they bring the orders out pretty quick each time we’ve been here. They also have many wine options to pair with your fish and also a tasty red sangria or other beers and liquor. There is also a bar where you can have a beverage if you have to wait for a table.

The food was excellent. I had ceviche at several places while in Aruba and this was the best. My barracuda special was outstanding too. Highly recommended for fresh fish. Also the garlic bread was really good.

This place was such a gem! Whacky Woohos is a small, family-run place in Aruba with AMAZING food and a warm vibe. It was packed, which we expected after hearing about it from others at our hotel. We sat at the bar with Rene, who was so sweet and really made us feel welcome. We stayed there for dinner and everything we ordered was delicious. I can’t wait to come back to Aruba and visit again!!!

The food was the best food we had in Aruba! Authentic Arubin food! The baracuda was to die for. Not a fan of crab cakes in general, yet they had the BEST crab cakes I’ve ever had! Amazing civeche!!

Best food I had on the island.
If you want to get away from the craziness of the strip, come here for dinner. It is excellent.
If you get here after 7:00 p.m. you will probably have to wait for a table.

Best and freshest food I ate while on Aruba! I heard great things before going and was glad I got to go just before we left. Amazing fresh snapper, add such a tasty cream of the sea soup! Pina colada was the perfect finisher, and its nice they served some free garlic bread alongside everything too. Definitely get there a little early if you don’t want to wait too long to get in as its a busy spot. The service is fast though and they were very friendly and attentive.

I went in on a Tuesday night for a takeout order. The host is let me know. They don’t do takeout orders on Tuesdays so she needed to add me to the list. She asked me how many and I told her just one because I was by myself. She said JUST ONE??? I said yes that’s why I wanted to take out order but she said they don’t do to go boxes on Tuesdays even though I saw someone in the dining room with to go box. She told me to sit at the bar. The guy at the bar was friendly, but he was surprised I was sitting at the bar to eat. He didn’t really go over the menu with me like he did with the couple who sat down next to me maybe 20 minutes later. I don’t think they are friendly with solo travelers? I felt uncomfortable especially after the house has told me I was not allowed to take my food to go and I had to eat in the restaurant. I’ve never been told I was not allowed to have a toolbox before. The food was delicious but spoiled by terrible service. I wouldn’t go back as a party of one because of how unwelcome they made me feel.
