Talk about a literal “hole in the wall” restaurant! Very limited seating but very very cozy. Food was good. No complaints from the group. The desserts where tasty too. I would come here again to try other things or to have a cozy dinner. There isn’t a “roof” so maybe not on a rainy day.

Overall experience was great but unfortunately it’s wayyyy over priced for a soba noodle dishes. I understand the price range of all restaurants in the area and the effort that they put in the decor but for a meal that cost 140$us for a family of 4, and we were all still hungry including my kids that are 8 and 10 years old, once we got out of the restaurant. For the price I paid, I would like to be full and not still be hungry. We had 4 soba meal with a side of 4 nigiri. Maybe add more noodles and sauce would have been good in the cold option.

An absolutely beautiful outdoor restaurant that takes you to Japan. The service and food are amazing. The restaurant opened only a few months ago but definitely is a must visit place if you love high quality soba and sushi. They offer aged nigiri and offer a selection of rolls, sashimi and nigiri plus hot and cold soba dishes. The dashi broth is full bodied, rich in flavour but not overly salty. Everything is perfectly balanced. Service is friendly and fast. The soba texture is perfect and is the best fresh made soba I’ve ever had.

Amazing buckwheat Noodle soups. Had the Kitsune Fried Tofu and it was really good. Definitely great when you want something warm and comforting. Apparently this place opened up in the last couple of days so we didn’t see it when we were doing our research, but we are sure glad we dropped by. It’s a pretty cool little restaurant hidden away.

We had a relaxed (serene) meal in the quiet outdoor dining area. All the food was delicate and well prepared. It’s good for the experienced sushi/soba lover who isn’t there for quantity.

Came here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised! The atmosphere of the restaurant was so beautiful and peaceful. I had the tofu salad soba noodles and it was delicious and refreshing on such a hot day. Will definitely be back!

A Sweet Lil Zen outdoor space in the heart of Paia. We Enjoyed two bowls of different Soba noodles and they were both fresh and tasty.

Beautiful and authentic experience for a soba place. The 10 piece omakase sushi was totally worth it and probably underpriced for the quality and flavor. You will enjoy every bite. Don’t spend too much time deciding between the difference soba choices. The basic sauce and noodle are the same. Can’t go wrong with any of them.

Wabisabi is the best thing that ever happened to Paia. You step off the street into a lovely Zen garden where you are pampered and fed delicious handmade soba and the best sushi I have ever tasted. It is aged in a special way that makes it melt in your mouth. I have been to Tojo’s in Vancouver several times (rated as one of the top 4 restaurants in all of Canada) and I have to say that Wabisabi’s sushi chef blows Tojo’s out of the water. If you want to treat a loved one to something really special, you can’t do better than Wabisabi. The brother & sister team who run the place are so gracious and kind, you’ll fall in love with this little piece of Japan here on Maui.

Unbelievable atmosphere. You need to try it to feel it! Soba noodle is also super healthy, don’t mistake it for a generic noodle carbohydrate
