The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, making it a very pleasant place to spend time. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
The service was amazing, warm and friendly.
The chef visited us.
The ambience is classy, yet cozy.
Looking forward to bringing the family in.
Went a second time, another lovely experience.
Couldn’t resist getting the miso black cod again. It didn’t disappoint. The best.
Wagyu new york steak delicious, outstanding.
Tempura was top grade.
Zucchini soup, ebi fry, delicious, bread was hard to stop eating. The miso cheese in the first course is amazing.
Last but not least, the green tea creme brulee was the best.
Appreciated the waiter describing the menu in both English and Japanese for my obaachan 🙂
I liked everything I ordered, kinda wish I went with a different cut of steak but that’s on me. I had a lot of unexpected pleasant surprises because I didn’t research the place beforehand. 5 stars from me and I hope to return soon to try another dish. Last note the coffee was really good, overlooked probably, but I liked it!
This time I came for my birthday dinner. We ordered the tempura, uni & ikura pasta, yuzu pepper steak and the chicken wings. The best dish was definitely the tempura as the batter was perfectly light and well seasoned. The steak was on the tougher side but still had great yuzu taste. Definitely next time I’ll have to do the omakase again as that was my favorite last time.
The service was fast and very attentive. The waitress was even nice enough to prepare a birthday dessert on a last minute notice.
The ambiance feels like a chill Japanese Living room. It’s a great place to have an intimate dinner with friends or family or even a date!
Definitely will be coming here again
Food: 4.5/5
Service:5/5
Ambiance: 4/5
For a party of four, we ordered three omakase sets and a handful of other menu items, and went family-style on everything. The mix of items we ordered was coursed and paced out nicely. The roasted duck appetizer, ribeye steak entrée, and lobster uni tomato cream pasta were standouts from our evening.
Service was attentive, friendly, and adaptive to our probably-unorthodox ordering approach.
Located up Palos Verdes somewhat, the dinner rush seems less crazy here than at other restaurants down the hill. Definitely recommend this place for a relaxed yet upscale meal.
We wanted to try something new and ended up at WA Dining Suya.
The restaurant delivered a great meal and great service. My daughter and I will definitely come back.
The Kakuni was my favorite — very homey. Honestly, that appetizer with rice could’ve been my whole meal.
