It was shockingly difficult to try to find vegetarian options in an Asian restaurant. Tofu dish? Sorry, it has oyster sauce. Pad Thai? Sorry, same problem. I’ve never experienced this in an Asian restaurant before.
They suggested I order from the gluten free / diet menu. Nothing there looked appealing.
I ended up ordering vegetarian sushi. So there was no protein in my meal. The food was delivered nicely, but the wasabi was the absolute hottest I’ve ever experienced. Nearly inedible.
The service was good. The eatery doesn’t feel welcoming; it’s dark. Upon walking in we didn’t realize it was even open. We won’t be back.

The service was great and fast. They were busy but are able to hold a large number of people. We only waited a few minutes to be seated.
Most of the food we had was good. The Pad Thai was a little bland, but adding chili paste helped. We ordered a variety of dishes to try as this was their brand opening. The cheese wontons, spicy garlic edemame, Phoenix roll, dragon roll, and the spicy mango shrimp were all good.
We’ll definitely be going back to try more of their food.

Visited for the first time and enjoyed it. Our server was pleasant and attentive. Food was generally quite good although the calamari appetizer was over cooked, tough and not edible. To their credit they replaced it quickly. The next one was better but wouldn’t order it again nor would I recommend it. Our meals were all enjoyable.
Would go back again.

This was our third visit to W&Z, we decided to take-out. After calling in the order, it was ready as promised. We zipped home and quickly opened our Sweet & Sour Chicken, Mixed Veggies with Beef and two fried rice orders. As my wife opened her S&S Chicken, it was immediately obvious that it was simply deep fried chicken, with a side cup of orange sauce. No green & red peppers, carrots, onions or pineapple. She first scooped the chicken into a bowl, and while spooning the sweet and sour sauce a large chunk of plastic 2.5×2.5 inches saturated in S&S sauce came up on her spoon. We both were perplexed and placed the plastic on my lid… Trying to examine it, I spread it out and it was clearly plastic. We called to speak to the manager, but the manager wasn’t available. My wife explained ingredients we expected were absent, and there was a chunk of plastic in the sauce container. The person on the phone said Sweet and Sour Chicken is only served as chicken, and he was stammering speechless in regards to the plastic in the sauce. Folks, drive to Sedona, dine at the Szechuan Restaurant… W&Z lacks even the quality of Panda Express, and you’re less likely to be served plastic in your serving.

We are delighted to have W & Z’s new location in close proximity, serving delectable and fresh dishes. For those who enjoy spicy meals, we highly recommend the Mongolian Beef and the Jalapeño Boat. Their Party Boats are impressive and have 5-6 choices.
Our waitress delivered outstanding service, and despite the crowded dining area tonight, we secured a booth in less than 10 minutes.
One suggestion for improvement would be to add more ambiance and selective private settings, similar to the Prescott location, as it tends to get loud.
We hope this establishment will continue to thrive for years to come.

We dine with the Asian Bistro 4 times a week.
The food is always beyond expectation.
Amazingly fresh colorful, tasteful and satisfying.
The diversity of the menu accommodates .. everyone’s pallet
Sushi to vegetarian.
The menu is sushi bar Chinese thai.
Very diverse menu with a spot on delivery in presentation and flavor.
If your dinning in or dinning out, one will be pleasantly pleased.
Prices are appropriate for the quantity and quality of the food.
The staff is always eager to meet your needs.
This is a one stop for dinning you have to experience, for Asian Cuisine.
Bravo

This place is really nice. The food was amazing. Sesame chicken with fried rice and shrimp tempura, all cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is immaculate down to the music playing in the background. Zen was an awesome and friendly waiter.

I am SO glad they opened one here in Cottonwood! SO FRIGGIN GOOD & lots of VEGAN options including sushi! I get the Veggies with fried tofu, sub veg for all broccoli, lo mein noodles, BOMB! Thank you SO MUCH for the Vegan options, I can’t tell ya’ll how MUCH I appreciate you. The only ‘con’ about this place is its popularity, VERY busy! But they should be, good for them! There’s usually a wait to be seated, the atmosphere seems nice but I’ve only gotten To Go thus far, looks clean, very fast for to go orders & so far has been 100% correct, no messed up orders, no adding things I didn’t ask for, overall 10/10, HIGHLY recommend! The hostess does a great job handling the very busy lobby area, it could be an absolute shtshow but they’re holding it together very well, team work seems to be making the dream work, love to see it. TIP THESE PEOPLE & TIP THEM WELL!!! THEY DESERVE IT! Welcome to town W&Z Asian Bistro, you’re appreciated. Would also appreciate more vegan options! It doesn’t need to be fancy, tofu this, tofu that, simple is best, I’ll eat it ALL .
