My wife and I came here for to try their lunch special. I had the garlic sauce with beef, while she tried the lunch roll special: spicy crab, spicy tuna, and eel w/ avocado. The garlic sauce beef was delicious! However there were a lot of filler veggies like bell peppers and onions and little beef. The rolls were just average; spicy crab was imitation crab as expected, eel roll had more avocado than eel, but the spicy tuna was delicious, but not better than the average sushi place.

The waiter was not fluent in English but that’s ok, not the expectation for this kind of restaurant. He was attentive and came by 2 or 3 times to check on us. It wasn’t busy so this might not be the experience for others at a busier time.

I’m very happy to see an Asian restaurant in Verrado. Had hoped for one that stands out from the average American “Asian” restaurant but alas it isn’t so. It’s a convenient place to satisfy the craving but not a place to rave about.

We were eager to try the new Asian bistro after hearing a lot of hype. We finally placed a phone order for pickup. The interior had a shaded, dark ambiance with a relaxed vibe.

We ordered two entrées and were disappointed with the food quality. The orange chicken sauce tasted like it came from a jar, lacking any fresh or homemade flavor. The peppered steak dish was over half red onion and bell pepper, with very little steak. What steak there was turned out chewy and bland, with no seasoning beyond the onion taste.

The overall flavor and presentation felt like a low-end buffet focused on quantity over quality. We were hoping for a better experience, but this will likely be a one-time visit. NOT WORTH the price to food ratio, small entre portions

I waited so long for this place to open up and had the highest of expectations. Hear me out. It’s not the best food ever, but it’s decent and close to us on this side of town. They definitely have a lot to choose from and maybe I didn’t pick the right stuff. It’s a nice little spot to meet up with friends or go with family close to home. We will still keep going to this place.

Tried this place today for first time at lunch. Reasonable pricing and the food was very good. kung pao chicken had great flavor and good portion. My wife got sweet n sour chicken and her only complaint was the sauce was a little watery so jacked flavor but was good overall . We also tried a Phoenix roll and the King roll both were fresh and delicious.

Got an order to go. The lady at the host counter was very very nice!! The inside was calm and inviting. We ordered Mongolian beef with lo mein. Also pork lo mein and breaded oysters. By the time we got home (25min drive) food was still warm and tasted AMAZING!!! The oysters were a first for me and I enjoyed them but will definitely try them fresh!! Can’t wait to try the sushi. Excited finally have something different in verrado. Will recommend to everyone I work with and my friends.

Our friends visiting wanted sushi and we saw W&Z Asian Bistro while renting a bike next door at Thrive. We came back for dinner and it did not disappoint. Great wide variety menu. My wife is not a sushi person and she had plenty to choose from. She had the pineapple fried rice with chicken while the rest of us had a variety of sushi rolls. My friend had a spicy salmon skin hand roll which is not easy to find and he loved it. Prices for the sushi were very reasonable as well. We recommend W&Z and look forward to going back

As soon as my family and I walked in, we were greeted with a smile. The server was very helpful and honest with his recommendations. This place has such variety of different asian flavors. Its just what the community needed and not too far away!!

Bruce was our server, he knows the menu very well and recommended us the housmade gyozas, you can tell the difference from other places. The chicken chop suey was outstanding, perfect for not-spicy-eaters, the chicken spicy mango was outstanding, if you tolerate spicy, you will love it, also we had pork fried rice, it was good, I believe it could be better.
Important, they just opened, the place was sharp and clean. Next time we go, I will try the sushi

Food is ok, but there are filler’s in all the plates we ordered.. the yellow curry was brown and they put mushrooms & tofu in it, with the mushrooms boiled into makes it feel Grainy. Normal yellow curry I’ve had only has chicken, potato and carrots. The PadThai even had mushrooms which just shows that it’s a filler product. With the prices we shouldn’t have fillers.. over all flavor is ok, service at host stand was nice. I probably won’t go back.

We went here tonight to try it out and it is a long awaited addition that Verrado needed. I had the sweet and sour chicken with fried rice. My daughters had chicken fried rice and chicken lo mein along with cheese wontons. It was fantastic. The portions were large so we definitely have leftovers for tomorrow. The food was top tier and the fact I don’t have to drive 15-20 mins to get Asian food is a plus. Highly recommend!
