We came in and had the bologna sandwich and the shrimp salad, and both were absolutely outstanding. The bologna sandwich was piled high, grilled just right, and hit every nostalgic note you could hope for. The shrimp salad was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. On top of that, the soup of the day was rich and comforting—true scratch-made goodness that you don’t find just anywhere. Even the sweet tea, served in a mason jar, felt right at home here.

My husband and I were passing through the area and were hungry. We looked at reviews of places to eat, and W T’s did not disappoint!!! No matter what, get the soup of the day. It is to die for!! My husband ordered the hamburger, my goodness, the best burger EVER!! So tender and juicy mmmmmmm.. The hospitality is genuine and the food is amazing

What a delightful treasure we found. The atmosphere was inviting and cozy, and the sweet ladies there welcomed us and treated us like family. We started off with fried mushrooms…*chef’s kiss*. Sweet tea was the real deal! My quesadilla melted in my mouth, and my husband said his salad was the best he’d ever had. We will be back!

Wow what an experience . Just passing through and we found a gem ! The food was absolutely amazing. From the fried shrimp to the seafood bisque to the hamburger steak to a grilled cheese ! The homemade sauces I could go all day . We love Mrs Wanda Thank you for being so inviting to our family and made this night special!

If you’re ever in Bessmer Alabama, you have got to stop by if it’s before 7 o’clock, you’ve got to stop by and see Miss Wanda at WT’s restaurant and lounge. she is the sweetest lady she will come to your table sit down take your order. She make sure that she gets everything to you and the food is absolutely wonderful. We have not had a bad meal there yet.

What a delightful evening! Such a treat to enjoy Wanda and Connie! Enjoyed their delicious dinner! Must try their dressings…all house made! Bisque was full of your favorite seafood. Hamburger steak and sides were perfect! Burger and fries were amazing! Definitely worth the 30+ mile drive!
