The side dishes, including garlic rice, cream corn, and fresh salad, were beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The main course featured perfectly cooked meats that paired exquisitely with the onion salad. The waffle style cheese bread added a delightful and unique touch to the meal.
With attentive service, outstanding food quality, and a great location, this is a restaurant we will absolutely return to. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates excellent Brazilian BBQ.
They brought different types of grilled meats right to the table and sliced them fresh in front of us — I can’t remember all the names, but each cut was tender and full of flavor.
The grilled pineapple was absolutely delicious — the sweet cinnamon flavor paired perfectly with the meat. The cheese waffle was also amazing — crispy on the outside and chewy inside, totally addictive!
The owner personally served small portions of salad and side dishes, which made the experience feel warm and personal. Everything tasted fresh and well-balanced.
There’s also a big screen inside, so it’s a great spot to visit on game nights. When I went, the Dodgers game was on! Highly recommend this place ⚾
“Sorry, we gave your reservation away.”
We were not late. They acknowledged we were not late. Despite that, they said it would now be a 20–30 minute wait.
The waiter was polite and apologetic and said all we could do was wait. The manager, however, was counting money behind the register when I asked why our reservation was given away. His response was cold and dismissive: essentially wait if you want, leave if you don’t, with no real explanation.
What made this worse is that when I looked around the restaurant, every table already had food on it. No one was ordering or looking at menus. That means our table was given away well before 8:30, not at the reservation time. In other words, the reservation was never actually respected.
I also spoke to another party behind us who said their reservation was also “magically” gone, but they were willing to wait. This clearly isn’t a one-off mistake. It’s a pattern.
From a consumer standpoint, we did everything right. We booked. We confirmed. We arrived on time. The restaurant did nothing to honor the reservation. This feels like a bait-and-switch reservation policy designed to get people to commit, while operating as first-come, first-serve anyway.
I didn’t even get to try the food. I’ve heard it’s good. But I do know their reservation system is unreliable, and management’s attitude toward customers is cold, robotic, and dismissive.
This is Los Angeles. There are too many good options to waste time and money on a place that treats customers this way.
The grilled meat was great (see the photo) and had no smell! The baby beef was my favorite, and all the side dishes were delicious, especially the waffle cheese bread. It’s made fresh, so you wait 5-10 minutes, but it’s worth it! I’ll definitely come back!
Great service
Parking is $1 for 90mins in the building (just remember to validate).
P.S. No alcoholic drinks available.
The service was top-notch: attentive without being overbearing, and the servers made sure our plates were never empty.
The sides complemented the meats very well and were amazing themselves. I personally really like the waffle cheese bread and mashed potatoes. Can’t wait to come back!
As far as the food and service, it was stellar. Everyone enjoyed the food here and boy do they keep on coming out! Excellent service by the gracious, friendly staff!
For the meat, the favorites are the pork belly, picanha, garlic picanha, tri-tip, and skirt steak. They were all seasoned to perfection and so flavorful and savory!
The surprise of the night was the chicken heart for those of us adventurous enough to try it. It was not as rubbery or chewy as the ones I’ve tried before at a Thai restaurant, and had a good texture and char flavor.
As for the sides, the runaway favorite was the cream corn. A sweet, refreshing side, it complements pretty much any meat very well. The beef strogonoff and waffle cheese bread were also popular amongst our group.
Lastly, we ended the night with grilled pineapple slices with cinnamon glazed on top. So delicious!
The only caveat here is that as of 6/16/25, the restaurant does not have a liquor license (in K-town no less) so you would need to bring your own alcohol. We brought wine and the host graciously gave us a wine opener and there was no corking fee.
Overall, the W Brazilian Steakhouse in K-town is a gem. Street parking is what you’d expect out of K-town, but once you’re in, it’s worth it. A pretty casual environment with high-grade cuisine priced below the likes of Fogo de Chao.
I can’t wait to come back again!
Visited during lunch and spent around ~$35. I heard about W Brazilian steakhouse many times being good and one of the better spots in LA. Although they are good, I would not say that there is anything special about this place. I gave it four stars based on the quality of the food, but I rather go to some of the other Brazilian BBQ spots in the area. Possibly because of hearing that they are Korean owned, the meats may have seasoning that is similar to the Brazilian style; however, something is off and different from a traditional Brazilian BBQ.
There is a good selection but different from the others, they do not have any salad bars or buffet items. They bring out all the side dishes along with the meats.
