You like fast food Vietnamese? This place is for you! You like hip, fusion-style Vietnamese food? This place is for you! Not so much for me – I like slow, traditional Vietnamese – hot clay pot & hot jasmine tea on a cold, cold day in Tennessee. Also, the parking sucked (unless you have a tiny car). Nice people though!

This was my first time here and it think I went overboard on the food. The menu looked so good and we decided to get a few plates to share instead of a bowl of noodles. (Most of the other people had that and it all looked so good!
We had the cucumber salad, the spare ribs, the spring rolls, the Dumplings, and the chicken satay Buns. All of it was good, but not very memorable. I think for what it is and where it is located, it’s a great choice for people who would like authentic Asian food. I would recommend this place and next time, I would definitely get the noodles.

Stop by from being in town and wanting authentic Vietnamese food. Should have known when we stepped in. It was dead as a door nail. Realize not one person was Asian. Ordered Pho, banh mi and so called “pad thai”. The most absolutely disgusting food we ever had. They should be ashamed of themselves for claiming and selling “Vietnamese” food. Trying to doop the community. Btw I’m fully Vietnamese and I am so ashamed of this business model. The pho and everything else was so nasty! Go to VN Pho Nashville, Saigon Nashville, South Ahan in Columbia for authentic Vietnamese food and Pho!!

my first time here and i may just be being picky, or my expectations are too high coming from seattle with excellent pho on every corner- but i was not a fan of this at all. I got the original beef pho- $2 extra for beef that was chopped up and seemed precooked. way too many toppings- they put in the bean sprouts and basil for you which i am not a fan of. I like to control how much I put in there and I have never seen a vietnamese restaurant not serve these on the side to be added on at your discretion. Nowhere near enough noodles- I swear i had more vegetable toppings than noodles. Broth was okay, a little on the salty side and the fried shallots made it a little smoky which i didn’t particularly like. I don’t think I will get pho here again. Stars are for really fast service and everyone was really friendly. Mostly good price aside from the beef up charge. Their menu did look pretty good. I would try maybe a banh mi or some other appetizers next time. It is a chain and doesn’t seem as authentic as i am used to.

We decided to stop in for an early lunch after checking other’s reviews. We weren’t disappointed. We were served quickly. I had the banh mi with chicken, which was stuffed with vegetables and grilled chicken in a very tasty sauce. My wife had the barbecued chicken sandwich and spicy slaw, which she enjoyed. We would definitely go back when we’re in the area again.

I love stopping at Vui’s on occasion to get lunch. It’s always fresh, hot, and delicious tasting. It’s easy to order and get a great lunch in no time. I recommend the rice bowl with chicken. I’ve also enjoyed their delicious Bahn mi and their yummy appetizers! I’ve always had a great experience at this location as well as the original in Nashville.

Located at the corner of Liberty Pike and Carothers Pkwy, this Vietnamese restaurant is a fast casual establishment. You order at the counter, and they provide you with a number for your table. They bring the food to your table. They have a great variety of options like bao bums, summer rolls, bowls, pho, etc. we had the shrimp summer rolls with peanut sauce and the Vui’s bowl with noodles and pork. Everything was fresh and delicious. There was a great fusion of flavors. They have indoor and outdoor seating.

Wow! We went here for the first time the other day, and while we had a good experience overall, there are a few things that could have been better to truly bring this up to a 5 star review. The main difference is the quality between the vegetarian plates and the meat dishes.

Firstly, if you love pho, this is not the place for you unless you like sweet pho. As we prefer a savory broth, the sweet broth was very strange and needed a lot of siracha and chili oil to balance it. Second, the tofu would be better fried to provide some texture and crunch in both the pho and the bao buns. The steamed dumplings were also okay, nothing to write home about, just had a strange flavor profile.

Now for the meat portion…. Oh my goodness, the pork is SO good. Very flavorful and melt in your mouth. We had the pork on the bao buns, tacos, and noodle bowl, and it was all fantastic. Would highly recommend the pork to anyone who eats pork.

As a side note, we were bothered by a couple of stink bugs while we were eating. We would flick them away, and they would come right back to the corner we were eating in. I’m sure they just came in when the door opened but thought I would mention it as it did affect our dining experience.

Overall a 4/5 star place and we will come back!

Heat lunch spot. Haven’t had anything we didn’t really like there. Has indoor and outdoor seating. You order at the counter and get your food, so there aren’t waiters (just fyi), but the food is really good. The pork bao buns are my favorite!

We ordered a variety of things for our first time here. Enjoyed the Sticky Wings and Boa Buns for starters. But was disappointed by the pork belly. It was cut thin and well done, almost burnt…will have to choose another protein next time.
