We came rather late on a Thursday night after being turned away at a different restaurant and the staff was so polite and accommodating. The atmosphere was fancy, warm and cozy but kid friendly as we brought our seven month old baby and no one seemed to mind. The food was incredible, we all finished our plates and they offered me a birthday dessert but we were just too full and satisfied for more. Thank you so much. One of my best meals and we came all the way from Boston.

Cruised by this one HWY 1 and turned around to see what it’s about! This beautiful place offers BEAUTIFUL views of the bay/ocean while you wine and dine. And it opens at 5, so depending on your arrival and wait time, you can watch the sun touch the water, and go away to hide til tomorrow while you eat!
The food, the Fish and Cips are excellent! They do have pan seared scallops and locally sourced beef for burgers and steak options!
Locally sourced wine and beer selections as well!
Ask for Garrett as your waiter, he knows the good stuff both on the menu, and the places to see if you’re a tourist enjoying your way through the area!

Delicious clam chowder that is packed full of clam and other ingredients. Delicious raspberry margarita. The raspberry sorbet is a great dessert and they serve it with a biscotti cookie and the server mentioned it’s fun to crumble up and pour on it like a crust. Would definitely come here again and the staff was on top of quickly serving and providing food/drinks! The view from the restaurant is also amazing, so a very nice experience.

The staff, service, and atmosphere were top notch! Our waitress, Tina, was so very nice and quite attentive. The presentation is very appealing, you can easily tell the chef is a visual person. We ordered 4 different entrées, and I was a little disappointed in the portion discrepancy between my higher priced dish verses the standard lower price items we ordered. The fish and sauce were tasty, the green beans were OUTSTANDING, and the rice was flavorful but a tad undercooked (it had a bit of a crunch). My son’s Fish and Chips dish was delicious! Perfectly tender fish with a yummy batter that was perfectly golden. I would absolutely come back, but would just stick to the more basic dishes.

We were unimpressed. Quality was good. View was good. Service was good. Ambiance was good. But nothing had any flavor. Even the “award winning” clam chowder was more like potato soup with some clams. Really hoped for some real flavorful entrees…was just too bland for us. Good…but not what what we had hoped for.

Great view, great service, great food! This is a great place to get lunch or have a fancy dinner. I highly suggest getting the clam chowder. The fish and chips was also good.

I had my wedding rehearsal dinner here on Sept. 27 with a group of 16 people. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. Working with Chris was easy to do and he suggested some great options for the group. We picked off their menu and the food was delicious. The room had bad acoustics though so it was hard to hear each other talk. Nothing the Vue can do about that though. They are a little pricey and even charged us for appetizers which we did not order so that needed to be fixed but I would recommend the Vue as a great spot for an intimate evening out on the coast.

My favorite restaurant while in town. Everything I have tried so far has been delicious.
Love the view and to watch the sunset from the restaurant. Also a great bar area even if you just want to have drinks and appetizers and watch a game.
Looking forward to also trying their Persian Kabab soon as I have heard it’s delicious.

If you’re Asian, I would strongly recommend staying away from this restaurant—it is not worth it. The treatment we experienced felt discriminatory and disrespectful.
When we arrived, the restaurant was half empty. Our group had 6 adults and 2 kids, without a reservation. The host told us we would need to wait an hour and a half. While some of the guys in our group went to sit at the bar for drinks, the women and kids waited by the fireplace. A staff member (not the host) told us we couldn’t wait there because kids aren’t allowed near the bar—even though the fireplace waiting area was right next to it. It was cold outside, so this was very uncomfortable.
On our way out, we overheard (what seemed to be a manager) telling another customer who had just walked in, “Oh, I told them to wait for 2 hours,” and then laughing and shaking hands with that guest. That confirmed to us that we were not treated fairly.
This experience left us feeling unwelcome, and it was very disappointing.
