My go-to donut spots in Colorado are still Lamar’s for central-North CO and Amy’s down in the Springs, but I’ve been quite a fan of Voodoo too since they first opened a location in Denver.
The Boulder one carries the same donut quality in an accessible location, it’s never too busy, and the staff are super fast and friendly! They also give good recommendations, which is especially helpful when we only go in for 1-2 donuts at a time.
Their dozens or really fancy donuts are too expensive for me, but at least some of the high-tier ones like the Voodoo Doll are large too match the price and seasonal specials are fun!

Really fun and unique donuts. If you want something that’s a treat this is a really great place to come. Everything is verrrry sweet though, so it’s not an everyday thing but defintely someplace that is fun to bring people or get as a treat for your friends. I had the Cherry filled one (don’t remember the name) and the cherry was nice and tart which offset the frosting.

3 dozen: 1 Classic, 1 Voodoo Dozen, and 1 Vegan and it was a huge hit. Everyone loved them and felt included because of the vegan and flavor options. The sweetness is bang on. It’s enjoyable without being cloying and sticking around the rest of the day. The sizes are generous. The dough is soft and a perfect balance of savory and lightly buttery to complement the sweetness. And all the unique designs are so fun to try and inviting. I think if you’re on the fence, give it a try. They are more than a gimmick and have great ratings for a reason. One of the consistently best I’ve had and my highest recommendation. Try a jelly one!

UPDATE: I visited this donut shop again on 8 Sep 2025 and unlike my first visit, I actually spent a little more time looking around the business. I ended up getting the Raspberry Romeo and chocolate covered donut – both were outstanding, according to my daughter since she wanted to try those donuts. I am still recommending this place to everyone!

My wife and I were in the area and needed to use a public restroom due to our morning coffee and water. We stopped at Voodoo Doughnut and had intentions of just using the bathroom and leaving; however, how can someone pass the smell and taste of doughnuts once it’s sitting in front of you? We have a lot of doughnut shops all over our home city of Las Vegas, NV and its surrounding areas but we don’t have a Voodoo Doughnut shop so I had to try this place because I have heard from multiple sources that their doughnuts are fantastic.
Unfortunately, I didn’t get to try any of those fancy schmancy doughnuts at this place. I did however, order a Raised Glazed doughnut and it was magnificent. To tell you the truth, I’m mainly a glazed doughnut kind of guy so I’m pretty biased with those so unless they’re 5 days old, they’ll always be good to me. But, I still can pick out how fresh doughnuts are and judging by my doughnut I ordered, you can tell that this place definitely produces fresh doughnuts around the clock.
The folks working here are very friendly; I overheard one of the workers patiently explain some of the doughnuts in detail to a customer which speaks millions of his character. This is something I’m not accustomed to in Las Vegas because customer service seems to be lacking these days, along with the friendly personalities. The prices seem reasonable to me; I’ve seen outrageous prices for doughnuts before and this doesn’t come close to that. A special thank you to this store for supporting the men and women of the Armed Forces and its Veterans – this is truly a remarkable franchise. Highly recommend to everyone!!

Wonderful staff!!! Went around 8:50 pm 12-20-2025/ the staff were super friendly and the girl that took our order was super nice! Not alot of people do well in customer service but she was absolutely amazing. Great additude, very respectful and informative when my daughter asked how they keep the frosting from melting. One of my favorite donut shops ever! Unfortunately I don’t remember her name! But she definitely deserves a raise! She has the best customer service and VooDoo donuts is lucky to have someone like her that really cares about their products and service!!

Was so excited to try this place while on vacation, but it was a let down….highly overrated! The store inside was kind of bland. Customer service wasn’t terrible, but could’ve been better. We got the Classic Dozen to share with the people who were hosting us as houseguests, but I kind of felt bad that we got these subpar doughnuts. We didn’t even get what came in the classic box, they were out of a lot of doughnuts, so they had to substitute. If you’re going to offer up a box with doughnuts that you pick, make sure you have enough to serve customers at anytime! There were at least 3 or 4 of the 13 that we didn’t get in our box. Highly disappointed.
