My friends and I are here while on a girls trip. We happened upon this place while on our way out. I’d been craving beer brisket for a while and I figured I could get my fix here. Unfortunately, we were a little disappointed. I ordered the 2 meat platter w/ Beef Brisket and Jerk Chicken. The brisket was a little dry and the texture seemed like it was commercially produced. Also it was lacking in seasoning. The bbq sauces that they had available helped with that though. I tried the spicy sauce and the traditional bbq sauce. They were delicious. The jerk chicken disappointed me the most. They only have white meat as an option and it was very dry and flavorless. I didn’t see or taste any jerk seasoning or flavor. It also came with sauce on it that was a little lack lustre. The platter also came with 2 sides and corn bread and I chose Mac n’ Cheese and Greens. The mac n’ cheese was ok. I feel like it could’ve been a little more cheesy. The greens and the cornbread were DELICIOUS! So flavorful! Especially when you dip cornbread in the liquor from the greens. Yum! The service was amazing. Everyone was warm, friendly and courteous and the atmosphere was clean, bright and welcoming.

Went here while on vacation, food was pretty good! I will recommend to friends about the good service and food! I didn’t know what corn pudding was, then i tried it, I still don’t know what it is, but i really liked it when i was there! I really liked the Ribs as well it’s hard to find good ribs that I like that is not to soft or tough to chew. 10/10 would go again

The food and service was absolutely amazing. Not only was the staff extremely nice, but they constantly asked how the food was prepared to make sure we were in love with it, which we absolutely were.
By the way, the Brisket Po-Boy was PHENOMENAL. Drench some BBQ on there and you’ll love it!

Barely acceptable. I don’t recommend them at all. We ordered to-go and told them when we’d be there (20+ minutes) and we still had to wait over 10 minutes after that time with no other customers in sight. The food was not bad but small portions and dry meat made it definitely not worth the price. Poor customer service too.

Just want to give some credit where credit is due I was supposed to give a review a couple days ago, I went in around 5 today and Michele and Dajia were there smiling and friendly but there was a guy there I’m assuming a manager because he was upset with the ladies I heard bits and pieces and he wasn’t that welcoming or else I would’ve given 5stars. Every time I’ve been in the store I’ve experienced a nice service and good food but it seemed like everyone was on edge today. I hope things lighten up today.

Great food. Great service. Great staff. Ki is up on her stuff when it comes to making sure her customers are satisfied, and I’m always satisfied when I am in her location. The red beans are tremendous, and the gumbo is AWESOME! Definitely will continue to go to her location!

I don’t know how this place has any bad ratings! This was our first time at Voodoo, and everything was stellar. We had pulled pork, brisket, mac, greens, ribs, and cornbread. Magdalen waited on us, and gave incredible service. Prices were fair on both food and drink, and a great selection.

Came here with the boys, because Saturdays are for the boys. First time trying this BBQ restaurant and I was really happy with the service!! Food came out pretty fast for me and my 4 mates. Prices were great, I even bought some of the MOJO sauce because I liked it so much!

This Voodoo BBQ has made a lot of changes for the better. The manager found out that they stopped ordering my salad dressing. She made a point to order for the next time I was there. I go every Tuesday for their $2 pork sandwiches and also get a side salad. Now, I know that they will have the dressing I like. The employees there go above and beyond to make sure you get what you want. I would recommend this Voodoo to anyone!
