As someone who frequents BBQ establishments across the US, this was an unexpected surprise in an unexpected location. The pork was excellent. Nice crisp bark, great flavor, very moist. I’d put it near the top 5 I’ve had. I was not expecting the quality to be as good as it was. But note – I had nothing to base my judgement on outside of walking into an unknown establishment with low expectations. And the crowing jewel was the sides. A lot of choices and they were great. I liked the slaw on my sandwich, would get it as a side next time I’m in town.

My first time here and will definitely be back much more! The Bar-B-Que Jambalaya was De-licios and a must try if you stop in. I also had the Sweet-potato side… wow! The portions of the Jambalaya filled the whole plate.
Got to be one of the BEST Cajun restaurants I’ve been to here in Florida. The flavors and atmosphere remind me of home in Louisiana! I also ordered the Blacken shrimp Po-boy… it looks super De-licious but I’ll have to wait till later tonight to be able to eat it. Lol

Voodoo BBQ came highly recommended by a co-worker, as I am from Texas and wanted some good BBQ. I ordered the 3 meat plate with Sausage, Ribs and Brisket. What I received was sausage, ribs, and beef fat. The ribs were okay, nothing to write home about. The sausage you can tell is purchased from a vendor as it was the best thing on the plate, and the “brisket” I received was pure fat. No where have I ever gone to a BBQ establishment and ordered brisket and received chopped brisket as a meat on a 3 meat plate. Save yourself time and money and look elsewhere for good BBQ

We’re currently living in New Orleans, unfortunately the VooDoo BBQ in New Orleans is permanently closed according to Google maps. We’re on vacation, and Pensacola is like our second home so we tried the VooDoo BBQ here. It was excellent! Everything we had was incredible. We will definitely be back to the store next time we’re in town. My wife really likes her veggies crunchy and she asked them to steam the veggies very lightly, and they did. Her veggies were exactly like she wanted them to come out. I’ve never met a bread pudding I don’t like and I can still say that, even though the bread pudding here is a white chocolate rather than rum sauce bread pudding it was delicious. And to top it off, the staff is very friendly & cheerful and not usually do you see them coming around to clear the table at a casual dining place like this. Some reviews I’ve read about the place on the way up here said that their portion sizes are too small, but let me tell you our portion sizes were perfect we walked away full but not stuffed and certainly not wanting more.

Stopped in last week for a quick lunch. We were greeted by friendly staff, the restaurant was clean, and the food smelled so good. Our food came out hot and fresh! It is pricey, but it’s not like we have very many Cajun options around.

Atmosphere: Most of the time that I’ve eaten VooDoo BBQ is at the office, but I’ve been able to sit down at their location once! The space is set up for you to walk straight to the register and order before taking a seat in the dining area where they have a decent space for seating!
Service: Once you place your order, they’ll bring out the food to you once it’s ready! The lady who was working the day I went in was helpful with making a decision for dessert!
Menu items: I’ve tried a variation of their meats and sides! Their BBQ shrimp with a side of sweet potato soufflé adds the perfect mixture of sweet and salty, and their brownies have a fun kick to them—drizzled in a chocolate and vanilla sauce!
Every time I’ve placed a catering order through them for work, everyone has always enjoyed their meals and the variety that comes with each order. The meat is always tender, and you can consistently mix up your order every time you go!

Stopped in on our way to New Orleans. We brought our friend who just flew in from Greece. She said “That sweet potato soufflé was amazing!!!” We had all the standards and would recommend them all. When the fries are made to perfection, you know everything will be as well. Can’t wait to go back!

My family & I were out shopping around town on a Saturday afternoon & wanted to try something different for lunch. We say VooDoo just past Target & decided to try it. You walk in & it’s very welcoming & smelled soooo good! The menu is never ending, you don’t know what to choose. They have everything from gumbo, fried fish, pulled pork and everything in between. They all were nice & answered any questions I had. We ordered and received our food in less than 10 mins. Everything was smoking hot & good portion sizes. The dining room & restroom were neat & clean. You most definitely have to go back more than once to try the entire menu.

Keep Calm
I ordered food through Uber Eats and it was terrible. The ribs were cooked too long and were very dry with barely any meat left. The chicken was dry. The “gumbo” was rice and gravy no meat no veggies. The jambalaya was very dry and the sausage in it was overcooked. The Carnavil meats came cold with no sauce. I requested a refund from Uber eats. I called the restaurant spoke a manager named Zach and he stated he would make a note of it. 1 out 10 would NOT recommend.
