The food coming out of this building is average, perhaps slightly above. The humans inside of this building are awful, and made me unhappy that we’re the same species.
Burgers are generally inexpensive, though their size matches the price (slightly larger than a slider). Admittedly packed with flavor. The cheese was nice and melted, onions were caramelized and delicious. I had a burger with horsey sauce, and they were generous with the application, so my sinuses should be clear for the rest of the winter. So the savings on the burger price can also be carried into my savings of DayQuil.
Taste rescued this from a single star, but wasn’t worth the wait for the size and amount of food received. Doubly not worth the wait to have to listen to the owner, who swears and berates customers. Jokingly, with a regular, sure. But I’d never been there before, and the owner still took the time out of cooking my food to come to the window and yell at me for not calling ahead.

We were passing through from Pennsylvania to pick up a car and we were looking for a good hamburger. This place is excellent! The owner is a character and make sure you order onions on your burger! Would definitely come back again when traveling to Ohio. Soup is awesome too.

This is a really special place. Amazing burgers. This is the type of food you crave and dream about. It’s that one spot that if you aren’t from Dayton and don’t get it on a regular basis you would go out of your way to make sure you get some when your in town. And the people there are just as wonderful.

I would have loved to have tried them, however, their credit card machine was down and no one told me until after I ordered, they were extremely rude and spoke to me like I was supposed to know what everything was or meant on the menu, even though I’ve never been there or know anything about it, by the way, the menu was not clear. The owner came over and was very abrupt after I told him I was not from Dayton and had never eaten there. He made fun of the way I spoke and the customer service was very disappointing. I understand this is a local hot spot and it will stay just that a “local” hot spot because they DO NOT make others feel welcome!

Food smelled great, prices looked fantastic… dude started yelling at me as soon as I walked in, then they skipped me after standing in line for 15 minutes to take another person’s order. Sure this place is awesome, but I’ll never truly know.

Great place for a quick burger and try the cabbage roll soup! Say hi to the owner working the grill. Limited hours, cash only, no indoor seating (but there’s a small standing counter inside if you visit in the Winter)

This place has great food! Beware though..you need to call ahead or else you will either wait 45+ minutes, or they won’t have any food left. Also, assume it’s lunch hours (noonish) only. The owner is a hoot, and don’t get offended by him. He is just outspoken, proud of what he does, and calls them as he sees them. Always recommended!!!
