Dinner was their bourbon flatbread. It was good but not great. I deducted a star based on a pretty limited menu. That said, my flatbread was a flatbread instead of a rectangular pizza and I appreciated that.
My drink is pictured. I only had one because the one the bartender (incredible depth of knowledge!) recommended after our discussion about what I like, what I have on my bar at home, etc. concluded. Absolutely loved it. Peaty but a different style of peaty. That’s a bottle I’m going to have to find at a store.
Neat place, enjoyed the keyboardist, pump up the menu a bit for the fifth star.
My husband had called ahead to ensure they could seat our party of 7. The person he talked to said it would be no problem and they had plenty of space.
When we walked in and told the hostess we had 7 people, she acted like it was a huge inconvenience and they could seat us, but not together at one table. Absolutely ridiculous! I asked if it was possible to push together a couple of the tables and she said no. Because they wouldn’t have space to walk. I was honestly flabbergasted. Looking around the space, there was PLENTY of room to walk around. And plenty of empty tables to push together. There were only 6 other people in the place!
Luckily, the bartender came over, was kind and ensured us they could seat us together and push 2 tables together. After the initial experience with the hostess, we ended up having a good time. But honestly not sure I’d ever go back. It really put a sour taste in my mouth when being treated so rudely. So although the drinks were great, it’s just not worth my time to go back.
The vibe is cool, and the Whiskey (and Whisky) selection is great! Kole is an awesome bartender… he only poured me one rye neat, but I was sitting at the bar watching him put out some epic looking cocktails. Awesome experience.
Service B+
Ambiance A-
Food C
The cocktails are excellent. All four of us liked them.
Service was good. Was not overly talkative with great timing.
Ambiance is very nice. It is cozy, well appointed, and loud.
Food. The menu xhanged from the last time. Less choices and fancier fare. Bacon onion flatbread was good. Wedge salad was as good as they come. My niece and nephews ordered the same hamburger. One got it perfect the other received his well and it seemed like it was not very warm. The fries did not taste like the normal fries and were not hot. The salmon. The sauce was plain (which is what I like) and the salmon overcooked.
The deviled crab croquettes. They had to much salt and not enough crab flavor. For a $300 experience you would expect the food to be better.
