My husband and I came here for lunch for our wedding anniversary and the treatment we got seemed like they knew it! Sushi was incredible, service was on point, and we really enjoyed the different scenes with the projector. Just what we needed to celebrate 11 years! We will definitely return! The dry ice on our boat was a nice touch, too!

Our waitress, Jasmine, made the evening even better with her friendly and attentive service. She was personable, checked in regularly, and ensured everything was just right—without ever being overbearing.
The food was top-notch. We started with some delicious appetizers that set the tone for the meal—everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The grilled items were cooked to perfection. Each dish felt carefully prepared and really elevated the dining experience.
The karaoke bar was lively and in full swing while we dined, adding an extra fun vibe to the atmosphere. Though I didn’t take part in the karaoke this time, the energy in the room was contagious. I’m already planning my next visit and, who knows, maybe I’ll give a song or two a try!
Overall, Volcano Sushi, Grill, Bar & Karaoke exceeded my expectations, and I’m excited to return. Great food, great service, and a lively ambiance make it a spot worth coming back to.

I had an amazing experience at Volcano Sushi, Grill, Bar & Karaoke in Town Center! From start to finish, everything was top notch. I started with the Flaming Volcano drink, which was not only a spectacle but also deliciously smooth with just the right amount of kick.
For dinner, we went all out with the Grand Volcano Carnival, where you get to choose five special rolls. Every single one was incredible! The Yaming Yaming had a perfect balance of flavors, the Tiger Roll was fresh and flavorful, the Golden Lobster was rich and indulgent, the Jaguar Roll had a nice spicy kick, and the Phoenix Roll was an absolute standout.
The atmosphere was lively and fun, and the service was fantastic. Whether you’re here for sushi, drinks, or a night of karaoke, this place delivers. I’ll definitely be back!

I was in the Virginia Beach area and wanted sushi. Since we were headed to Wegmans my friend searched for sushi near us and Volcano Sushi, Grill and Bar came up. I am so glad we picked there. The food was incredible and the presentation was incredible. We loved it and can’t wait to come back in the fall. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere inside was fun and interactive with their giant wall. We didn’t do the karaoke but no doubt that is a fun bonus there.

I absolutely loved everything about my visit today. I’ve never been there before. Seating was very quick. Our food came very quick. Also, everything was so good. I also looked inside of their party rooms they are for small crowds. I think up to 15 people for their largest room and is well worth it. For a different type setting

Food is 3.5 stars because I have eaten here before and sushi was good and tastes like it was freshly made. Atmosphere was welcoming, however, there was this one particular day where my fiancée and I was greeted and seated, but we were waiting for 15 mins for the waitress to come back and give us the menu. She never did and the other party that came after us had their order and water! To top off, it was not a busy night!

Amazing place! Delicious food and an incredible presentation. Excellent customer service. I was looking for something different and this place meet all my expectations. Also, they offer karaoke service. With spectacular rooms, you can sing with your family and friends, and enjoy a unique experience. I recommend this place and for sure I will come back.

It is a very cool place with a great atmosphere. Moving pictures take up an entire wall with scenes from Japan. Very beautiful.
The sushi (avocado and sweet potato for me since I’m vegan) was very good. The kitchen food was not as good. The noodles had excessive sesame oil. They have no vegan salad dressings and could only offer me vinegar. They used soft tofu instead of firm for the tofu teriyaki.
The server was friendly, informative, and helpful. However, no one ever removed a dirty dish from our table. We kept stacking them up on the end of our table when we were done with them. They were still there when we left after paying our bill and finishing our drinks.
This place has private karaoke rooms that are soundproof and rented by the hour. We will come back and try that!

We came here for lunch on a week day and we were the only ones in the restaurant. After placing our order, the food didn’t come out until almost 30 minutes later. The presentation was beautiful, however the food was mediocre. The restaurant esthetics and onlines reviews brought us in, but we would have been better off going somewhere else for sushi lunch.

Found this place on Instagram from a food influencer/social content creator. Upon first impression, I was impressed by the music playing and the atmosphere with all the lights, and seeing the karaoke rooms. However, everything quickly went downhill afterwards and I was no longer impressed by the time I left.
Our server was very nice, her name was Misa. She was training a new waitress while handling our table. I quickly found out she was also handling a large party of what I estimated to be about 30 people who all broke up their checks. When I was walking around checking out the karaoke rooms. My server stopped in to tell me the prices and packages of the three karaoke rooms. My server was extremely nice and knowledgeable. However, our service was extremely slow. We never received drink refills. We waited almost 20 minutes for our check. I ended up going up to the registers to pay for my check with another waiter. The restaurant was NOT short staffed. They had many waiters working the floor. It seems Misa was overloaded and overworked.
The presentation of the food was very artistic and creative. However, everything tasted bland, tasteless, and the raw fish was not fresh. We ordered several different things from appetizers, sushi to ramen.
Also, it was expensive and not worth what I paid for.
Highly disappointed in my experience. I hope they fix how they operate and definitely improve their food.
