We had such an amazing experience at Volcano Steak & Sushi Hibachi, and I have to give a HUGE shoutout to our server, Madison (Maddie)!
From the moment we sat down, she was attentive, warm, and full of personality. She took our orders immediately, checked on us often without being overbearing, and truly allowed us to enjoy our food and family time. That balance is rare, and she nailed it!
When it was time for the check, she had me and my husband cracking up. She said, “I know this is the worst part of dining in for you, but the best part for me!” Her humor and unique vibe just made the entire experience even better.
The ambiance was great, the food was cooked wonderfully, and the hibachi chef put on a full show for a family that practically had the whole table—and almost the whole restaurant—to themselves! It was entertaining and fun to watch.
But truly, Madison’s service is what stood out the most. She made us feel welcomed, cared for, and appreciated as guests. We will absolutely be back, and we’ll be asking for Maddie! “The Barber’s”

One of the absolute highlights has to be the hibachi. It’s such a joy to customize your meal exactly to your liking – I especially love creating my own combination with extra rice and vegetables. Trust me, the leftovers are just as delicious the next day, if not better!
Beyond the incredible food, the service truly shines. The staff is always on top of their game, providing attentive and friendly service. The customer service is consistently on point, making every visit a pleasant and welcoming one. And speaking of memorable experiences, the way they sing “Happy Birthday” with the drums and everything is absolutely THE best! It’s such a fun and unique touch that makes celebrations extra special.

I serendipitously stumbled upon Volcano Steak and Sushi on a Tuesday and it was the best surprise! It turns out Tuesdays are half-price, which allowed me to sample a wide variety of their incredibly fresh Japanese fare.
The presentation here is top-notch; they use very clever and unique dishware that makes the meal feel like an experience. While they do offer milk teas, the sushi and Japanese dishes are the true stars of the show.
The atmosphere is what really sets this place apart. They have massive ceiling screens playing stellar cosmic videos—it honestly feels like you’ve stepped onto the deck of the Enterprise in Star Trek.
Bonus: The building is connected to sister stores offering great Korean DIY varieties, making the whole complex a one-stop shop for amazing Asian cuisine. Highly recommend!
