I recently visited this newly opened teppan-style sushi restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. The ingredients were exceptionally fresh, and each dish was crafted with precision and care. The ambiance is refined yet welcoming, and the staff demonstrated professionalism and attentiveness throughout the dining experience. The spacious layout also makes it an excellent venue for larger gatherings or parties. Overall, it is a promising establishment that delivers both quality and elegance. I look forward to returning in the near future.

Listen… if you’re looking for a spot that does both steak and sushi right, Volcano understood the assignment. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is chill, clean, and perfect for a date night, girls’ night, or even a solo “treat yourself” moment.
The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated — no skimpy rolls over here. Every bite tasted like it was made with care. And the steak? Cooked perfectly, seasoned just right, and definitely the kind you think about after you leave. Portions were solid and worth every dollar.
Service was on point — attentive without hovering — and the food came out hot and fast. You can tell they take pride in what they serve.
If you’re in Atlanta and want a place that gives quality, flavor, and consistency, Volcano Steak & Sushi needs to be on your list. I’ll absolutely be back.

What an awesome restaurant! My friend and I came in for some sashimi and hibachi on a Sunday night, it was a such great experience! Food was fresh and definitely big portions. We had uni, toro, filet magnon, and calamari for appetizer. All very yummy and definitely coming back for more next time!

Salad was ok but soupy dressing. The miso Soup had a funny taste. A few pieces of our Nigiri we tough and chewy couldn’t eat those. The rolls were ok but…. I would rather spend my hard earned $ at koni house the Food quality is better in my opinion. Good service though.

We had a great experience here and we cannot wait to come back. Everything was on point. My husband and I absolutely LOVE sushi and eat it all the time. My husband stated that the rice was some of the best sushi rice he’s had, he has 29 years of culinary experience so he knows food. He also rolled sushi for many years. My son loved his sushi roll, I stole a bite and it was by far one of the best rolls I’ve had. The filet hibachi was a 10/10 and cooked to a perfect medium just the way I ordered it! We will be back!!

We found the new Volcano Steak and Sushi after working in Dawsonville! We enjoyed an amazing lunch. Dicky is a most excellent server. I’ve never been served by anyone more attentive! Vino is a top notch chef who prepared everything to our liking. We will definitely be returning customers when we are within driving distance ♥️

Way overhyped. The sushi was very good they definitely know what they are doing. Can’t really saying anything about it. Everything came out super quick. We sat for about 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. We sat at the bar because it was so busy but the hibachi meat was okay. The rice tasted nothing but grease. The tempura had absolutely no flavor. They were nice and removed it from the bill and I appreciated that. The atmosphere was nice but definitely won’t pay the money for what you get there are definitely better placed like Osaka.

The food was OK but quite a bit overpriced for the amount of food received. The bento box was pitiful and the filet steak was ok but overcooked. The nigiri was the best part of the meal. Also it is a loud restaurant, definitely not recommended for a quiet date night.

The dinner experience at Volcano Steak & Sushi was very positive. The wait was less than ten minutes, and service was very friendly and efficient. The food was very fresh and good portions. The VIP is worth looking into. My personal score a 4.8.

Everything was good, just average. If you want a unique sushi experience and you love sushi, you’re going to be disappointed. Pictured are the gyoza, super volcano, the Manhattan, and the scorpion king. It had a very “sushi franchise” feel to it. The happy birthday drums were excessive but had a good beat, but after 4 times during a 30 minutes meal, it got old. All in all, like I said, everything was good, just nothing to write home about. Good for a quick meal, decent prices, large tv’s, and fast service.
