We were excited to try this restaurant, but our experience ended up being a bit underwhelming overall, especially for the price. My review is only based off of the BBQ dining experience not the hotpot or combo.

The food was okay but not what we expected. All of the meat was overly marinated and not very fresh, which took away from the enjoyment. The rice was unfortunately overcooked, dry, and slightly burnt. Dessert options were very limited, though the sauce bar itself was decent. The revolving belt of ingredients didn’t really enhance the experience and felt unnecessary.

When we first arrived, service was slow to start and we weren’t greeted right away. Our waiter seemed overwhelmed at first and was only able to seat us. He was very kind and attentive later on, which we appreciated. There was also some confusion with our burner being left at a very low temperature, so we spent some time trying to cook before a manager noticed and adjusted it for us.

The layout of the restaurant was a bit difficult to navigate, as it’s split in half and arranged more like a sushi restaurant, which didn’t feel very convenient for a hot pot/bbq setup. We also noticed a couple of fruit flies near the meat bar, which was concerning.

Additionally, the menu was written on a whiteboard with expo marker, which felt a bit informal for a restaurant at this price point. The overall cost felt high given the limited meat selections and experience. We spent maybe about 2 hours there and during that time the meat was never replenished.

There are definitely some positive elements here, and with improvements to food freshness, service flow, and overall presentation, this could be a much better experience in the future.

Food was great! Broth was delicious, I had the spicy broth and it was so flavorful and had a good amount of heat for the normal person. I ended up adding a bunch of chilis and jalapeños to kick up the spice even more and it was perfect. Food options were great! Sauces were awesome and the dessert options were great. Our table also had the bone broth that was really good!

We had Alec as our main server (and another guy whose name I don’t know helped out) and they were both attentive and efficient. They made sure dirty plates didn’t sit more than a few minutes on our table and that our broth and drinks were never empty!

My husband and I love having hot pot together. We stumbled upon this place and thought we’d give it a go. It wasn’t crowded at all and just a few patrons on a weekday evening. We were so glad it wasn’t loud or noisy at all and that we can carry on a conversation. The cool part is definitely the conveyor belt that carried a plethora of veggies and items you would want with your meal. The items are covered in plastic wrap so it’s hygienic and you only grab what you want. Bean curd is a must for us with hot pot!

Upon being seated, we were handed a menu and chose a soup base. They have a quite a few options, but our go-to is the tomato soup base. It’s like tomato soup without the thick, heavy cream. It’s also pretty cool that you get your own little “hot pot” so I don’t have to share with my husband. The meats and other items are out in the open for you to grab when you want and how much you want. However, be mindful to only take what you can eat. This place also does Korean bbq if you wanted to do that in tandem with hot pot or to just do whichever you prefer. Our waitress was super friendly, and they collect your empty dishes on your table which is really nice. Overall, a yummy experience!

The overall experience of this place was nice. I loved the idea of the conveyor belt, BBQ, and hotpot all in one place. The service was quick and fast and whenever we had dirty plates on the table it was gone in a second.

Though, the selection of food was limited and there was not much variety of seafood and meat, but still there was enough to make you full.

The bathroom experience was… not very pleasant it smelled horrifyingly disgusting to the point I’ve lost my appetite. (Yes it is that bad)

In conclusion to my review, this place was OK, there wasn’t any wow-factor to it. It was fun and kid-friendly but, the food selection is just like what other hotpot places have. They have a lot of potential in this restaurant and if they changed the selection of food and put in more effort into the place, I would come back for sure.

Go here if you want to be greeted with nearly nonexistent service. We walked in and there was only one table seated and eating. We stood at the front for 5-10 minutes waiting for someone to seat us. It got to a point where we were about to walk out. We saw someone in the back of the room sitting. We made eye contact and he kept sitting there. Then as we were about to leave, he stood up, got the menus and then sat us. He threw the menus on the table. We were very perplexed. Then he came back in less than a minute and asked us what broth we wanted. We had not had a chance to even open up the menu. I asked for more time to view the menu. He proceeded to ask “Do you want spicy or not spicy?” I told him “We need more time.” Then he pointed at the menu and asked “Do you want hotpot or bbq?” I finally said, “You know what, we will go somewhere else.” We walked right next door to Ying Tang and was greeted with spectacular service. I was so excited to try a new hot pot place. I will never go back there again.

That was the nastiest meat I have ever tasted. None of it had a meat texture. It was like mush. It was just horrible. The hot pot was good. My Korean friend spit it out and we just ate our hotpot. Is it just cheap meat? Even our waiter said he doesn’t eat it when we told him how bad it was and he apologized.

This hotpot is by far my favorite one, they are different from other hotpot restaurants in that they let you get the meat you need!
You no longer have to keep asking the waiter for your order!
Although their slices of meat are thin, you can take as much as you want.
They also have a wide variety of vegetables, and they don’t just give you a little bit.
The food on their rotating track is wrapped in plastic wrap to ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the food.
The disadvantage is that it is a bit of a waste of plastic wrap. Even if the food you want is not waiting for you on the carousel, you can still order from the waiter.
The only downside was the ice cream, which didn’t taste like ice cream at all.

Food, service and price were disappointing. First, they told me I’d have to pay full adult price for my 8 year old bcuz he’s tall. I should’ve left then but wanted to try it out. Selections were underwhelming and my son only liked the revolving dishes that come around but options are very weak. Definitely once experience

Hot pot is not my favorite, but my entire family loves it. They have plenty of choices and I really like the sauce bar. The ice cream was surprisingly good. The night we went they were slammed with an after Christmas crowd, so it took forever to get a refill of soup. Everyone was very kind, despite the crowd. The tables are tiny and crowded together. They only have two tables that seat more than four. I would love to see them expand into a larger space.
